The difference is that there is damned little to hit at 35K feet. There are literally ZERO times that an aircraft autopilot is going to disconnect and tell you to take the yoke due to something outside of the airplane. In fact, it literally CAN’T do that.

I think what it comes down to is that everyone wants to feel young. As you get older you’re willing to pay more and more to feel/remember being young.

Management shouldn’t be hired externally.” This is too limited a view. Only promoting from within becomes a sort of in-breeding where strengths can be preserved, but weaknesses can also become magnified. People who work in other companies and other industries often bring perspective that helps a company invent, innova

Most certainly. Dodge Vipers are a first world problem, while actual vipers are a problem in many third world countries.

While I sort of agree with the sentiment that there is pushback going from an old and lazy V8 to a more complicated and high strung turbo six...complexity, fail points...yada yada...it seems pretty unlikely that people who care about the exhaust note are cross shopping the electric. Personally, I question the

1st Gear: This is an excellent example of how stupid American politics have become. Driving an electric vehicle shouldn’t be a political issue. Divesting from fossil fuels to preserve the environment shouldn’t be a political issue.

Oh my god, whoever is running WSDOT needs to talk to those project managers, the I-5 at JBLM is hands down the worst driving I’ve experienced in North America.

This EV won’t work for me because the commute to my job is 20 miles each way and once I get there they don’t give me enough money to buy this car.

The only people who enjoy the dealership experience are dealers. I’ll buy a car from a fucking vending machine with a well-stocked brochure rack. If you really need a person, it’s to make a copy of my drivers license before I go on a test drive.

I sold my Gen2 CTS-V back in 2012 after it was around $80 to fill up the tank. I had enough of that sticker shock and promptly bought a Volt. I was 95% electric and only used gas for long trips.

On the other hand, get fucked. Shilling is right on this one. You street park your nice car in very constrained parking space cities (London, Paris, Rome, New York) you’re going to get dinged. Comes with the territory.
Even here in LA, you put yourself on the street in Echo/Highland Park that’ll happen.

Italy. Just be careful where you sign up. Make sure it smells of oil and not incense.

Please tell the powers that be to put Nice Price or No Dice back up on the masthead, it’s hard to find now.  I thought it was gone at first, and it deserves to be at least findable without rolling down through menus.

I think private companies going into space is both inevitable and needed. However, there needs to be strict regulation including a requirement that space junk is de-orbited quickly and safely. Too much debris up there already, and it's only going to get a lot worse with tourism and projects like Starlink.

Maybe it’s a function of him having Asperger’s?

Sadly I agree. Any interaction with the cops is at best a neutral time waster and at worst ends up with life changing problems or death if the cop is on a bad mood.

You are not acknowledging the continuous stream of bad cops on video. You are not acknowledging their colleagues standing around, at best watching, at worst participating in their bad deeds. You are not acknowledging the departments, unions, and droves of other cops who actively support these “bad apples”...not a

I’m a clean cut white guy. I have had a gun to my twice during normal traffic stops, for no apparent reason. I had my unarmed stepmom shot to death by cops. I had a cop lie under oath in my case after I got arrested for pot.
