I once thought I was playing Eve for several hours, turns out I just change my PC wallpaper to a starscape and left Excel open

Two things.

Eve, that video game that is way more fun and entertaining to read about all the crazy things that happen instead of actually playing it.

I had no love for EVE while playing it briefly, but I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of reading up on the craziness that goes on.

If only there was a reverse camera angle, so we could catch the full weight of that dramatic turn.

Here’s a tip from a dog lover for people who don’t own dogs. There were some basic mistakes by the players in this video. The dog is scared. If you are seen as a threat, the dog will not come. Don’t jog up to it and expect it not to cower when you clumsily grasp at it. Just wait for it to approach you while your hand

I’m not sure what you are saying, actually. It sounds like you’re trying to get outraged about shooting street gangs and convicts who have tried to forcibly take over parts of a post-apocalyptic city, but I’m having a hard time understanding why. Other than the 1 line about “one more black body on the pile”, I don’t

Those words, and the “black bodies” Bennett invokes, must surely be no accident. But despite her evocative language, Bennett and her gang have arranged the preceding level as a bizarre, theatrical slaughterhouse that conjures the Joker and his Arkham goons, not Alicia Garza and Black Lives Matter.

Well, when I see a guy leaning over, bashing another person’s head into the ground with a baseball bat or the butt of his rifle, that’s a pretty good visual indicator.

The Cleaners and LMB are immediately visually identifiable, meanwhile the Rikers generally wear a mixture of prison uniform and prison guard gear.

Because the entire premise is that those people inevitably become dangerous animals when shit hits the fan. I mean read the part about the black woman lamenting the destruction of black lives as she's setting up a deranged funhouse like a goddamn supervillain. The premise itself is stupid and offensive, especially in

This whole poor people narrative is kind of a weird thing. Is it because they’re looters? I’m looting the shit out of new york, but I have tons of credits. It’s kind of a dumb critique that makes no sense.

Its kind of off putting though that often the only obvious visual difference between the poor people you’re supposed to save and the poor people you’re supposed to put down with no notice is the color of the bar over their head.

I mean, if that’s how you want to spend your virtual time, go for it. Doesn’t appeal to me much. I like to be the hero in my games. Or at least have the option to choose to be evil. When I'm mowing down homeless people, and the game keeps telling me I'm the good guy it just breaks the immersion.

I too get upset when video game reviews remark on the setting and premise.

Yeah, but there’s no room for sportsmanship when promotion to Serie J is on the line.

If ever there was a time for a cop to fucking off someone it was here.

Well done, Sir!

Why not?

To be fair, Kennedy was too busy working up the road at FOX
