I can’t agree with your comment. They were busy working on the PS4, X1, and PC versions for years after the 360 and PS3 launch. And then after that they have continued to support the game with FREE content. And yet you feel the need to complain? They’ve hardly sat around doing nothing.

-_- so from the FREE dlc I can buy a superyacht, house, tank, AND a car all for the cheap price of $159.99 real world dollars

This is how I live my life. Never give up, never do it right.

I know comparing players across eras is kind of a hot take...but fucking PRIME Kevin Garnett would have absolutely eaten Blake Griffen alive.

Holy shit! KG just stole Blake Griffin’s New 2016 Kia Soul!

Totally agree with this, Jason, but to go even further I wouldn’t say that this is “one of” the worst PR disasters in gaming history. I’d argue that it is the worst PR disaster in video game history.

I don't care if you promised me a luxury box full of concubines, NOTHING is worth rooting for the Washington Racial Slurs

Lions fans just get tossed salad at tailgates.

I think in this Venn diagram, the Bills Fan circle is entirely within the Walmart Shopper circle.

“I’m almost there, baby. You’re going to make me cum. Nope. Missed it. Almost there again. Nope, you missed. Third time’s the charm? No. Close again. Almost there. Missed it. Wide right. It’s just never going to happen with you.”

Yeah but Skins fans get blowjobs in the stadium!

You know what, I think I’m gonna bandwagon to the Bills, their fans are getting laid more than anyone else’s

Same, massive fan of Kurosawa and this was one of the first of his films I caught when I was younger. Revisited it ten years later and made that poster for the sake of nostalgia. Its influence and Kurosawa's in general are far-reaching, it's amazing to see just how much came about thanks to that man!

The Seven Samurai is one of my favorite black & white films. It still holds up as a great movie these many decades later. And, this movie also spawned many movies and tv shows following the same theme: The Magnificent Seven and Battle Beyond The Stars are probably the two most famous one.

Might as well plug this poster I made a while back, Mifune was such an awesome actor and I was damned if I didn't include his helmet in this in some way...

It is supposed to. The Jedi are Samurai and Vader is the Shogun. The name Jedi comes from the Jidai-geki (a period piece, which is where Samurai dramas fall) and Vader's helmet is a kabuto.

"No, I am your adoptive father."

Midichlorians

Star Wars was pretty great in its mixing of Asian and Western film influences. Two of the most obvious:

Now playing

Toshiro Mifune was a fucking amazing actor. Ever film he was in demanded you notice him and his character to its fullest. Even disregarding Seven Samurai (how the HELL do you do that?) taking 'Yojimbo' and 'Sanjuro' on their own just displays his range as an actor.
