Funny thing, I didn’t thing much of the Matrix demo. It didn’t scream ‘real’ to me that much.

I lose interest too. I mean it could be as simple as Aloy fighting Dr. Strange in Fortnite, or some bizarre virtual bullshit meant to replace real life.
For me, it’s still one of the best FPS we ever had. The nanosuit is amazing in this game (compared to the nerfed version we got in the next titles). You could run at 50 Km/h between trees, switch to super strength and do a massive jump right on the face of a guard or on a roof you’d destroy with a fucking punch, then…
Sure but that’s not some psychological trick, and certainly not inherently evil — it’s just how they’ve tied their progression system into their business model.
employed tactics to increase dopamine production in their users
You don’t talk with that language in our chat. AIDS and cancer don’t exist as words you use to dunk on Capcom. Even if fight money is garbage.
Uhm... Why would anyone buy this when ASUS has an i7 (7th gen), GTX 1060, with 16gb ram for $1350?
Comparing them is not pointless. As a matter of fact, it’s the exact opposite of pointless. It’s the living proof that, if you want to sell consoles, you need software.
Ahh ok. With this game, sure. But I would take a new 90's Super Metroid game any day. It’s not an era thing, it’s ore per game basis.
What about those of us that want to fuck a Krogan? Or a Salarian?
I already enjoy my Switch a lot more than my PS4, in terms of UI, hardware, and controllers. As long as Nintendo has a market, there is no reason as to why they should cater to the small population of Sony/MS super-fans.
I’m having a lot of fun with it! Let me just say that I’m not the biggest Zelda fan and the only game I played more than an hour (and beat) was Link’s Awakening on the Game Boy, yet I spent 5 hours playing Breath of the Wild as soon as I got home after picking up my Switch at midnight—and now I’m deadbeat tired at…
There are less buttons and menus here, but the real winner is a proper tutorial system. You get these AI robots who pop in from the side of the screen every time you do something new, and they’re super helpful.
I agree with you generally, but at the same time Disney and the like have gotten away with it for a long time. It helps that if they have a person in mind, they write the character for them, Genie for Robin Williams comes to mind.
I don’t know about a high end controller (using say the xbox one “elite” controller as a baseline for that). Given the amount of hardware and the need for 2 screens I still see this costing more than $200 or equivalent, but yes, way down from the current price. The best part is while newer generations might be…
The Elite controller is substantially more than a regular controller for more reasons than flappy paddles on the back and switchable sticks. The materials used are perfect for gaming, they have metal rings around the analog sticks with a super low friction material on them, the magnets used for holding everything…
I was recently looking to buy a new controller and was considering that one, but then I remembered using the plain white ones from the early days of the 360. I can note the differences, but the similarities put me off. Ended up finding one of these though. Love the green.
I enjoyed playing as a bowl of dog food in Geist, so I’m excited about this game!
To be clear, I’m talking about specific details involving how the game plays, what the dungeons will be like, etc. I don’t really need to know that until I play it, although there’s certainly some news value there. As a reporter, though, I’m way more interested in learning more about the NX and whatever other…
Big thank you to Sony for finally adding this and a big F-you to those who rationalized the decision to keep this feature absent for so long. My PS4 will be getting a lot more use now.
