Believe me I get that needing some hope after watching those.

I think she wanted to apologize for using him, getting him beaten up, ultimately losing his job, only friend (Marty) and turning into a full time drunk again.

I don't get the hype either but I watch and read things in all genres, I'm guessing the Snyder fans are those who only read and watch geek/nerd things, I have a friend or two like that and their tastes are very different from mine.

They were a teen hearthrob band in the 80's, they actually wrote good songs though so that might disqualify them, I still listen to a few of their songs on occasion.

A lot of the rich people society life stuff and the effect of the depression on the characters would have to have been changed and that would have made it a different film, it's perfect like it is.

That's my second favorite Trek film, Roddy McDowell plays a fantastic villain.

Trashy reality shows

A bad ending to a film or book is sort of like like having the best gourmet meal of your life and a stale Twinkie for dessert. It changes the whole experience not just those last few bites.

I'm not sure that enjoying Kids is a thing. That is a really depressing film. Requiem For A Dream is depressing but Kids is on a whole other level of depressing. There should be a warning on the Blu-Ray box to lock away sharp objects in your home before watching.

Yes I read books the right way for me. I have had some eye problems in my day and being able to change font sizes in ebooks has done wonders for my ability to read without eye strain.

I say the Coyote series by Allen Steele would make great TV. Plenty of great characters and conflict to make 4-6 13 episode seasons of TV.

The Stones?? Now I'm ashamed of our state....
Yes, it took this.

I think Snyder just lacks the flair as a director to make the movie pop off of the screen and put the audience on the edge of their seats.

I'm guessing this guy has never been punched in the face before but that's hard to believe because his face is so punchable.

If I eat something with cilantro in it all I can taste is the cilantro it takes over the taste of everything and that's all I can taste. I don't hate the taste it's just too strong.

This is why I bought a plasma TV too, I really don't lke the odd motion that you sometimes get in LCD/LED TVs.

Laser, no question. I used to have to buy a new inkjet every 2-3 years and ink in between. I've had this laser printer since 2005 and I've only had to buy toner once.

The BSG ending was poorly handled. It wasn't just the religion part, they mailed in the last few episodes and then tacked on an ending that made no sense in the last episode.

If I could buy them in a restaraunt or grocery store I might try them.

Forever and DMZ are the only two that have a chance of me watching from the descriptions above, a couple others may be more appealing when we have commercials showing some footage.
