I thought about dropping the show in season 2 as well but stuck it out and it was worthwhile. Season 3 was really good TV. Pick it back up when you get time, you stopped right before it started improving.

I always figured that there was a 5-10 second delay that allowed the director in the truck to show us the camera that is following the ball.

I think I Will Fear No Evil is one of Heinlein's worst novels, it's last in on my list.
That pretty much sums up how I feel about Heinlein as a fan.
SG:U ends pretty well. The last episode is actually a pretty decent conclusion to the show.
