You can doubt it all you like. ZF presented the specs to our product development team to make a choice for our vehicle application. I trust the ZF engineer over your doubts.

What is there to save? You can still get the 7spd manual. And if this is the business case for the number of sales that will allow GM to bring us this much car for less than 100k, then let the people who want an autmatic have one.
If someone doesn't like a convertible, get a coupe. Jesus. Nothing lost its character. That car is awesome regardless.
Unfortunately. I love how people who have absolutely no interest in the car are totally bashing it.
Then what about this:
You forgot to remind us that you broke the C7 sketches here first!
This pleases me greatly
Right? It's crazy how many enthusiasts (myself included) have blind hope that some day, some way, we can compile our dream garages. Without that optimism, I just wouldn't see a point. Cars like this would just induce pain.
Well if it took out people with similar mindsets like yours, Ya it might be a win.
6'4" w/34" inseam, Camaro is strictly a no-go if equipped with sunroof - haven't sat in one without, I'm over the desire for a Camaro these days.
Yupp, still cant get past that back.
Don't hate the car, man... Hate the designer.
Is this a fucking joke?
Exactly. I'm so sick of my Facebook feed filling up with " I just took the [ idiotic quiz ] and got [ meaningless answer ] " And I always think the same thing : what a moron that would not only take the quiz, but also feel the need to admit it, and even share their stupid answer with everyone they know! THANKS BUZZFEED
People are missing the timing of this move. You move from the C6 to the C7 with minimal price increase, and you receive PR over the "inline pricing of previous generation" all over the media. Then a year later you bump the price up and few notice. Plus, some Corvette buyers demand and are used to…
Still worth it. I'd DD the heck out of one of these if I could afford it.

I would totally buy one, except according to market reports, I'm A.) a millenial, and B.) a hipster, meaning I'm A.) too broke to buy a new car, and B.) am only interested in vintage FRS's anyway. Meaning my current car matches my demographic perfectly.
After reading the people who were saying "oh, it wasn't private cars, so no big deal that they are destroyed" this kind of gives flesh that it isn't that at all. Most donated cars go through a vetting process where it'd determined whether or not the car is significant, fits the theme of the museum and whether or not…
I'm a Southerner and my family has lived in the same rural area for over 200 years. If there is a symbol to show the pride of being Southern, the confederate flag isn't one of them. Plain and simple. You want to show pride? Feed people who aren't from the South BBQ, have them listen to bluegrass, blues, or country,…
