The key statement in this whole thing is “In my opinion” It’s a collectible, a fashion statement and a commodity- if you choose properly. I’d say there’s no engagement with a phone. It reminds me that there are always more emails to answer, more work to do, more useless Social Media to consume. You can enjoy a watch

When was the last time you watched Indycar? The championship goes down to the last race every year, there are 3-5 guys going for the championship, four different types of tracks between short ovals, super speedways, street courses and road courses and you never know who’s going to win each race because the cars are

If I could, I’d outbid someone my dad’s age on a Hemi ‘Cuda and restomod the shit out of it because the engineering was god awful in the ‘60s. But hey, they did look good. I will never understand T-Buckets, T-Birds, or anything from before 1967, but that’s my taste. The market will change, but the desire to spend

Bullshit. As much as I’d like to think that we’re not going to repeat the mistakes of our elders, we are most certainly going to spend stupid amounts of money trying to capture our youths or get the youths we *wish* we had - just like our elders.

Take advantage of it. I turned a 167 mile z51 Vette into a Callaway SC627 because some old ass dinosaur blew out his rotator cuff & couldn’t row the gears anymore. His loss, my gain because all of a sudden I could afford a Callaway Corvette for the first time in my life.

I suspect they’ll have the car fully shook down and ready to go by LeMans. Judging by the C7R when they retired the C6R/ZR1, it took them about half the IMSA season to become truly competitive with a top-notch team running the car.

I am surprised they implemented this system in the GT cars first. It would have been more useful in the prototypes because one of the ongoing gripes is that the P2 cars destroy on qualifying while the DP’s sandbag and then win on race day due to their ability to warm up tires at a faster rate due to their higher

The rear wheels are 17"x11" (315/35-17) and they're an absolute nightmare to buy. And yes, they're standard. In 1990, they were the widest tires on the market.

This car is totally, and completely worth your time. It revs to 8000 and pulls, pulls, pulls. It absolutely screams. I’ve had more powerful modern cars, including a C7 Callaway Corvette with nearly 150 more horsepower, but the ZR-1 had a character all its own that just can’t be replicated. Oh yes, I will have another

Well, actually, I am considering American muscle. A couple of dark horses along with the cars I mentioned (M2/ATS-V/Giulia) for my next lease is a Camaros ZL1 or Mustang GT350. They’re priced right where the rest are, should be fun and I love muscle cars - I had a Challenger SRT8 as a daily driver up until the Bimmer.

I have a 435i xDrive with a manual and it is an excellent car. The handling’s good, I love the manual trans, and it’s a good looking car for a daily driver.

Lamborghini Gallardo - The design has a good, classic Lamborghini front end and just DIES on the rear end into a bunch of boring boxes and straight lines. The Huracan is a MUCH better design.

Personally? In reality? About $100,000. In my mind, you can get PLENTY of car for $99,999 or less.

The M4 is conditionally approved to run in the Continental Tire Series in its GS category. There are still e92 M3s running in that series. These cars are similar to GT4 spec in other series. I believe Fall-Line Motorsports will be running an M4 in 2016 if they don’t run to the Pirelli World Challenge in a Porsche GT3

Yeah, and more power to you, but those of us who don’t are constantly asked if we do. I follow Indycar, Tudor, PWC, WEC, F1, Formula E, Australian V8 Supercars, DTM, - probably in that order, but I don’t follow NASCAR.

You’re kinda right... It was this guy!

They used to in the 80s. They also had a special factory-backed B2K release a few years ago (2012?) to commemorate the twin-turbo cars from the 80s as well. So Callaway is unlike the other tuners.

It only raises the operating temperature of the SC627 only about 10 degrees over the stock LT1. That’s kinda the reason why I ordered a Callaway SC627 over a Z06. The intercooler that sticks through the hood is supposed to be cool to the touch after normal driving according to the geriatrics over on the Corvette

They also have a Supercharged Silverado. Methinks a Callaway copy editor missed something.

I will give you an Amen. I’m a sports car racing junkie and have been to Indycar, NASCAR, Tudor, PWC, TRANS-AM, dirt tracks, - everything. But nothing, NOTHING prepared me for an NHRA event.
