I would love to see Tarantino make an Inglorious Basterds type movie set on Cardassian occupied Bajor.
For those lacking in reading comprehension, he isn’t saying its the low point of his career with regards to his performance. He is talking about his own emotional state. It is the point where he as a person just felt out of it and not happy. Make all the snide comments you want about how “no X role was the worst” but…
The thing that continues to bother me, is it’s clear that CDPR made a game that was designed to push the limits of high end hardware, but still encouraged last gen console owners to preorder and purchase. They did this knowing that they needed last gen purchases to justify the cost of the game’s development, but also…
Ashley’s donned costume, headpiece and full makeup to transform physically into Ahsoka. It really does feel off, and I know it bothered me the first time I saw it. Rosario Dawson just seems more like what Ahsoka would be at the age of 45.
Glad that both Dawson and Filoni acknowledged Ashley Ecstein’s contributions. As I’ve come to terms with, Ashley is to Dawson as Lanter and Taylor are to Christensen and McGregor. All performances work for their respective characters. (with an edge to Lanter who had better writing)
It’s so good! The finale is perfect, tying the whole season together. I won't say more so as not to Spoil. I can’t wait for this show to come back.
I have been giving TNG a go as well; I did not watch when originally broadcast and thought that I should give it the old coronavirus try.
Its also worth noting that Disco has far fewer episodes per season. We’re what? 30 or so episodes into DIS at the start of season three? whereas the equivalent point in TNG’s run had had three 24 episode seasons. That’s far more time to spend with the crew, tell stories, introduce characters, and for the show to…
Season 1? Sure. Skip. Season 2 had a couple of fantastic episodes, including one that reminded me a lot of First Contact. Not a surprise, since it turns out it was directed by Jonathan Frakes. It was a solid season that jumped the shark once or twice, but is otherwise worth watching.
I’m going to say something here that’s going to get me grilled, especially having grown up with TNG. We all know that seasons 1 and 2 of tng were mostly hot garbage. It was in the third season that the show became great. Obviously, it’s also hard to stay on a budget when you produce that many episodes per year, so…
It’d better have enough self-sealing stem bolts.
This episode literally had them talking things out with a diplomatic solution — the very epitome of Trek.

I mean, if Geordi is a competent engineer, he was already budgeting a reasonable amount of buffer time into his estimates in the first place.
No, Scottie is “sandbagging”, which is a cynical approach to handling assignments. It is an old term that implies that you purposefully lied to give yourself advantage.
In fairness, that was a single little joke about a Scotty specific character trait, and this expands on the joke in a way where it’s saying something different.

I mean, look, nothing’s going to be as good as Galaxy Quest.
