Because VR games circa 2016 are really just garbage Wii-like gimmicks.

It’s like Wii shovelware but somehow worse.
It’s totally ridiculous. The game remains an unoptimized mess and hasn’t seen an official release, how do they think it’s appropriate to be release DLC?
Every time I read these games about players trying to find meaning in this game I keep wondering. How have you not figured it out, it’s just another abandoned concept like the dozen others. Move on people until its patched its not worth sinking more time into.
The portals lead to a better game unfortunately they don’t work so you have to use the other portal also known as the power switch to get to a better game.
Oh but your paying for the experience guys! It’s such a great experience and everybody complaining about the lack of content just doesn’t get it! It’s such a unique indie experience it really is!
This assumes they actually serve a purpose. Seeing that 99% of the things in this game don't, I think it's a safe guess to assume they're working as intended (by having no function).
The only thing funnier than all the anger over this game are the people who still have not realized that it is an early access game sold at full AAA retail price.
How is that censorship? Do they even know what the word means?
being unable to freely express opinions != being unable to monetize while expressing opinions
All forms of advertiser-driven media have to be cognizant of whether or not advertisers will want their products associated with the content.
So basically, Youtubers will have to follow basic TV standards, avoid strong language and controversial subject matters to keep the advertisers happy if they want to keep earning revenues.
Are you kidding me? The dev even went on Colbert’s show to lie about online capabilities.
People are inhuman for getting a refund? The hell?
That’s true. I suppose FFXIII was probably closer to the Midgar stage of FFVII. Otherwise yeah there is some wiggle room to explore, but you’re still boxed in by land barriers and the like. Typically until you’re given an airship the Final Fantasy world is pretty linear.
Well made products are typically the ones in highest demand for piracy. Piracy isn’t a political statement, or quality statement, it’s greed. I want to keep my money to spend on $200 sneakers AND play the game.
Funny premises and a seemingly interesting/entertaining branching story, but, $9 is a bit too much for those limited production values. $1-2 maybe, but a full $9 could buy you an entire paperback novel (or the digital download of one) that would entertain you three times longer and would probably have a better laid…
yes, but they were a less frequent occurrence by a long shot than they are now.
I’d expect it to be at least a solid experience, so that’s not really a surprise there. But boy, is it ugly. Not just technically, but the style.
I’ve known about the Ultimate Edition since it was announced, but every time I see that $270 sticker price, my eyes get wide all over again.
