Yes, entitled, because going on numerous talk shows and giving countless interviews that describe features that are not in the finished product is, somehow, not false advertising. They lied in their promotional material and the interviews they gave, they should be lucky if internet rage is all they get out of this

Most people aren’t upset with them talking about features that were cut early. They’re upset with them talking about them within the last few months, advertising them a month from release, and in some cases still using them in official advertisements on the website today.

Many took to Twitter to scoff at the Reddit thread. Some called it “entitlement.”

They had no problem with communication when it was selling people on all of the ideas they were going to include. They only started clamming up when those things weren’t delivered. If there’s some legal reason for this, some contractual obligation that they cannot specifically address features not included in the

Don’t worry as the review stated there is basically really one like 20-30 kinda original planets the rest is like the same. I’m sure we’ll find (I’ll buy in around $30.00) brand new completely identical worlds to explore for ourselves.

I guess I see some reason to compare the two, but even as someone who doesn’t really care about Minecraft...doesn’t it win by default?

But it’s got mods. Like someone else said it’s had a decade of developement. It’s earned it’s reputation. No man’s sky is getting credit for ‘what ifs’ and ‘what could be’s’ but it’s not actually been given the content that makes it a worthwhile game. .... Yet.

Why? it’s my understanding that everybody playing No Man’s Sky is technically playing on the same seed and will do so indifferent of how many times they start the game anew, while you’ll get a new seed every time you start a new world in Minecraft.

You realize every time you warp to another system that long wait is actually a load time, right?

At least with Minecraft, if you ask the developer if you can meet other players in game, he answers with a “yes.”

Bigger is not always better. No man’s sky is half a game.

Voxels are voxels, and NMS is made of voxels just like Minecraft. They’re just rounded and shaped differently.

Glad you hashtagged that, how would Twitter pick up on it otherwise?

The 2nd system has exactly the same stuff as the 1st, and the 50th.

It’s pop, POP, not ‘Soda’.

In this case it’s not a matter of whether the game could live up to the hype/expectations or not. In this case, it’s a matter of releasing a functioning product. Hello Games have no control over fan expectations, but they certainly have control over releasing a competent product.

Or, you know, you can just read this REAL headline about black on black violence which anti-cop dipshits like you ignore.

Nope, due to york regions size its cheaper to use the chopper to cover things like parks, trails and forest edge’s, then to have a high number of required footcops always patrolling

Ahh... the mythical pirate that buys all the good games he plays. It’s like bigfoot but with more people trying to fake it.
