When I tell them that I spent $450 on a new set of tires, they're quite helpful in informing me how they spent under $200 on theirs... and they're guaranteed for 60K miles. Although it looks very similar, the proportions are different, the car is smaller overall and side windows are a bit taller. It might be that these small almost unnoticeable changes will totally fix outward visibility problems. At least I hope it will.
