Weirdly enough, I owe my career to Keith. He asked me to contribute an article to a website in 1994 and asked me to send it in HTML, so I learned HTML. Damn good timing.

It’ll be genuinely impressive if they can get a 250-mile-range EV that barely weighs over a ton. Neat concept!

a focus on quarterly profits rather than long term investment

LiFePO4 batteries have been around for a long time. Not as high performance as traditional lithium iron - but a whole lot less finicky and with less risk of overheating. But it’s not exactly new and revolutionary - there are already a bunch of these being put into EVs in China.

Exactly. You’d be hard pressed to find a dev who is excited to add a bunch of mobile microtransaction mechanics to a game they’re working on.

You keep repeating that like you think we do not understand this. We do. The problem is that putting someone in jail is a wildly disproportionate punishment for selling ROMs.

I think it’s crazy this guy is doing any time for what’s essentially a civil crime. Fine him and let him live his life I say putting him in prison for running a web page is just mean.

They could make F1 a lot more exciting by just grabbing a bunch of old stock from a local tire shop and passing out sets at random to each team.

There were so many of us worried about the Titan, too.

Here’s an idea - stop with this DRL BS and just use the freaking low beam lights and taillights that are already there are the DRL. Car in drive? lights are on. End of story.

Nah, it’s just not intended for regular consumers. They smell the bacon of military, aerospace, and industrial contracts.

Don't forget it needs to charge in under ten seconds.

I think that their goal isn’t to sell batteries, but to get bought by another company.

Is the remanufactured battery a swap? A lot of people use Tesla packs for retrofits into other vehicles, or for applications like stationary energy storage, so there are reasons people would want to buy one.

It would also help in balancing load on the grid.

But the engine doesn’t seem seized... so what’s up with the sub-headline?

I spun out and flew off a mountain and died.

Forgot to add another one: Depleted uranium!

Just being pedantic here. Benzene is carcinogenic, toluene (methylbenzene) is not carcinogenic. Where I work, we use quite a bit of toluene but no benzene because of the danger of it.

It makes sense for jet boat, where you need water flowing through the jets to maneuver. Conversely, outboards are basically rudders, which can help you steer (somewhat) without power.
