Wow, that’s madness on such a cheap bike. I wonder if the Grom Spec series will change to allow this new Kawi. I quite like it, and would like to have one, but I said the same thing about the Grom, and I probably wouldn’t ride it often. Maybe as a race bike.

The longer I own my Miata, the more likely this is to happen.

I never said Honda was unreliable, but it’s a bit much to assume this car will be reliable because the Civic is reliable. This is a Hybrid, AWD, twin turbo super car. Many more moving parts, systems, and stuff Honda generally isn’t known for.

Do you have to use the OEM tires for endurance racing or anything, or is it like all other racing (aside from the old showroom stock classes) and you can run different wheels and tires? Sorry for the long sentence.

If you want to go by reputation, the transmission will explode, and the turbos will probably have issues. Honda doesn’t have a good track record with either of those. Their Hybrids also suck. I wouldn’t go by reputation on this car since it’s unlike any other car they’ve made.

I’ve autocrossed a decently prepped SMF Supercharged Mini Cooper S with a diff. Whenever things go poorly, countersteer and throttle!
