It was to get attention from her boyfriend. I'm sure she had other issues, but that was the primary justification she gave.

Whether or not this was a faked kidnapping, I think her father is easily the worst person in this story. WTF, man???

I know that the city went after her for some of the money spent on the search. I can't recall if there were charges filed.

I actually had a friend who did this back in college (faked her own kidnapping, got found out by the police/media). It is a weird-ass situation to be involved in. At first, I was convinced she was dead, because that's what happens when pretty young women disappear. Then everyone I knew was ecstatic when they found

yeah i'm on that, writing about it right now. i think this part of her response:

My dad would say, "Oh, yeah. My daughter would definitely allow someone to kidnap her. Typical Kurtney."

ok, i'm SO sorry that my post isn't in any way related to this but I HAD to share it. So this woman got banned for posting THIS picture on Instagram for her visual rhetoric project :

I mean… there's a lot of fishiness here, but not for the reasons her dad and law enforcement seem to be providing. Like seriously dad, WTF? She doesn't seem like a person who would "let someone kidnap" her? Because victims just "let" things happen to them.

And apparently men as well, given your trolling for attention.

Yes.

You're so right. For example that bitch Andrea Lubitz who just downed the German plane.

It's not surprising in the least. Mike Pence (and Mitch Daniels before him) have done their best to make Indiana the most embarrassing state in the Midwest. Wisconsin gets all the pub, but, Indiana has secretly been the absolute worst. This is a guy who is destroying public education in Indiana, refused Medicaid

Those two things aren't mutually exclusive.

yeah, great chap trying to cover his ass after realizing he might have finally done it, that his Bosses would not let him get away with it AGAIN

You're an idiot.

Fuck him

I am sad that Top Gear as I know it will be no more. But Clarkson brought this on himself and us, so I can't be mad at the BBC.

I will miss him as a presenter however, he did bring this on himself. He acted like a child, threw a tantrum once to often, and physically assaulted a co-worker.

if I get the fuck out, can I get some ham? Will it be kosher?
