In my experience, we legit don't deal with this. There are a lot of fucked up gender things we legit never have to worry about.

You're the hero we need.

...yeah if someone called me a cunt I wouldn't tip them either.

I usually tip 20%, and rock 30% at my favorite place cause I love those guys.

Chill the fuck out, you psycho.

It depends on where you live in the stated and has changed with the ACA. In California, for example, docs are legally not allowed to deny sterilization for non-medical reasons. And it's 100% free as a form of birth control, at least on my insurance.

I feel like snarking on this woman being slightly-less-bigoted is unhelpful.

The biggest obstacle to this is that the black plague is curable with antibiotics.

?

Maybe she DOESN'T WANT THE BABY, even if she could keep it. Maybe she doesn't want a bunch of well-meaning people in her face trying to convince her not to do something she's DESPERATE TO DO during the hardest time of her life. How is that not obvious to people? She's desperate, she's ashamed, and apparently 1,400

Completely on-point. I get super pissed at the "Oh if she hands it to a medical professional we get a chance to shame her and try and convince her to keep it!"

According to my very wonderful (and overcredentialed) vet, ANY wet food is better than dry food.

Have you looked into Trader Joe's house brand wet food? IDK if it would meet your needs, but they've got a good food safety record and it's pretty high quality (no byproducts, chelated minerals, low carbs, etc).

If you've got a Trader Joe's near you their house wet food brand is comparatively inexpensive and quite high quality. They have a good food safety record, too.

Yup. Most of the cat food out there is pure shit. You gotta do your research and choose wisely.

I remember mycotoxins being listed as a reason not to give dry food to my cat when I was doing research on what food to feed.

To be fair, the title itself is a spoiler.

Oooooh. That makes a lot of sense and is totally understandable. I think people misunderstood what you were saying and that's why there's such a harsh pileon.

Are you grossed out in a judging-the-author kind of way? Or in a judging-the-parent kind of way?

I think it's a combination of a desire for control and a religious dogma that says 1) suicide is always a mortal sin regardless of circumstance and 2) followers must police the behavior of non-followers.
