Hopefully. Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out Hamilton.

Haha, selling hamilton merch.
I think it'll turn into the next generations Rent. So something annoying theater kids can obsess about.
Her hair looks great. Wish I could do that, goddamn frizzy hair.
Why can't you see it?
I know, I'm saying they should have met then. Claire could have been like "Hey, I know you, because you're about to travel back in time and we met in the past", and Geillis would be like "holy shit, how did you know?", and the daughter would still be suspicious but then Claire would actually take Geillis to the…
Yeah, but meeting Claire would have served the same purpose, and would have justified Geillis knowing Claire in the past. It would have made a lot more sense than the way it was written, where Geillis just surmised that Claire was a time traveler.
I feel like they wasted Geillis's reintroduction. I thought the point of bringing her back was for her and Claire to meet, so i kept waiting for that to happen, but it never did.
-"You're better than this AVClub!"
-"…No we're not. And we never have been."
I've always had this idea that Beavis and Butthead were riffs on Bill and Ted, so Keanu Reeves and the other guy?
I don't know, they just look like relatively harmless cheesecake. Does being a feminist mean enforcing a zero-tolerance policy?
Well, I wasn't trying to be accurate obviously. My point is that the popularity of these characters is maintained more by brand identity and fan loyalty than actual quality. They've been cranking out bat comics since the 30's, the majority of those stories have to be, if not crap, than at least unremarkable.
Man, I have no idea what makes a character popular or what makes a book sell, but I doubt being "good" or well-written has much to do with it. Cause I'm pretty sure 80 to 90 percent of the stuff written about Tony Stark or Bruce Wayne is pure garbage, with the good stuff only standing out because of it. I guess I'd…
It seems like everyone was hostile towards this project from the beginning. Is there a lot of Uncle Buck nostalgia that I'm not aware of? Did the families of Hughes and Candy not receive their dumptrucks full of money?
It would be nice if marvel actually committed to these changes to see what effect they'll have in the long term. Kamala Khan at least looks she's become a permanent fixture, and it'll be cool to see her character go through all the weird permutations all the established characters have undergone. But i know that…
I think this is a case of well-meaning people jumping up to defend another group of people, without realizing they're making assumptions that say more about them than the actual film.
Okayyy…that's an odd assumption to make. I think I'm more bothered by the attempt to label the character. Why does he need to be autistic for it to be not okay to make fun of him? Does that mean bullying would be okay if he was just weird?
And it's not like I hate any of the new writers or anything, they're fine I guess. But the old writers definitely brought more personality and genuine enthusiasm for the things they wrote about than the current writers. Gameological at least still has some life in it.
Please tell me one of the masked killers cocks their head at an angle in a really creepy way. Nevermind, don't ruin it for me!
I remember The Good Dinosaur got pretty much overshadowed by Inside Out, and received mostly middling reviews, but i saw it the other day, and its pretty damn great.
