Yeah, he's bullet-proof because his most reasonable supporters are willfully blind to his most ridiculous aspects. The Trump supporters in my family claim they like him for his position on taxes, basically that they don't want to pay taxes for welfare. This makes sense for them because they're pretty good

Look, Idiocracy isn't perfect, but…um……..that's it I guess.

Awesome. I only started recently listening to Fear of Men, but I love them. I'm starting to understand what kind of music really draws me in, and it's usually stuff that sounds strongly defined by a single voice, and I love the voice of this band.

Nah, he's like a 6 on the Anthony Davis scale.

And she has the angelic tones of Chad Kroeger to listen to for the rest of her life. Like heaven on earth it must be.

I can only imagine this being incredibly disappointing. Are they gonnna juggalo it up like they did to the joker?

Are you Allen Gregory?

If thats true, the healthcare metaphor makes even less sense. Elysium residents would be crossing to Earth for cheap medicine and dental work.

You have to admire it just for existing. I mean, how was that thing even pitched? Its not even weird in an intentional, old-spice commercial kind of way, it's just…off.

With the power of imagination, anything can be real. But you must BELIEVE!!

Yeah me too. Bebop and Rocksteady actually look the way theyre supposed to look, which makes me think they tweaked their design approach between movies. Those turtles are still so visually confusing though.

Oh god, i hate that commercial.

Also, magic isn't real, and wrestling is totally fake!

Well there you go.

I guess. It's possible to justify Madeline's infatuation with Scotty through the narrative, basically that she's damaged and vulnerable. But to me, it still comes off like wish-fulfillment for a 50's male audience. Same with Jimmy Stewart's role in Rear-Window where, again, an incredibly attractive woman, Grace

I think you're looking at Darabont's run through rose-colored glasses. He may have had a greater overall vision for the show, but it was still pretty terrible (though there's no moment that has yet to top the Sophia reveal. Season 2 was mostly ass, but that was a gut-punch).

I'm bothered by the exact opposite of that. Why would a woman like Kim Novak be in love with Stewart's character? Scottie is a dull, completely charmless creep. She and Midge deserved better.

Don't worry, the reboot of my comment will address all your complaints!

Right. I have no problem with the hat as a running joke, but Indy doesn't always need to wear the costume. He's not even wearing it at the end of Raiders, he switched it for a nazi uniform to disguise himself. Thats partly why that movie still feels fresh, Indy's a character, not a plastic action figure.

Thats completely true, but how silly will it look if Indy is still wearing the same getup in the 60's or whenever that new sequel will take place?
