Oh and one thing I thought was kindof amusing that no one touched on was how video game-y / arcade-y the Sovereigns battle fleet / drones was. I thought it was cheeky how old school the sound effects were for the machines they controlled the fleet with were. I was surprised there were no like “Game Over” splash…

My nitpicks are all fairly minor, I thought this was great fun. Looking forward to seeing it again this weekend.

- Mantis, while great in that one scene with Drax, was mainly the butt of jokes and did one helpful thing (but big I suppose) at the end. I’m not sure she brings much to the team, but I guess time will tell…

See I liked the Pac-Man gag. That and the Ravagers being blasted up and down into the air were such fun sight-gags. I thought those were more enjoyable than some of the one-liners (though I liked plenty of those too).

Its so much more manageable than Pokemon Shuffle. I like the Skylanders games, but this show is no bueno. It looks good enough but the writing is bad. Questionable choices for voice actors, but Kaos sounds like himself so I guess thats a positive. And I like that Norm Macdonald is working hah.

I got tickets to take my son (and drag my girlfriend along with us). I hope its good! Looking forward to a longform story since all the episodes of the show I’ve seen have been those little short stories, which are entertaining but I’d like to see something more substantial.
