I have a rhubarb patch in my yard. It's the first fresh garden thing I cook with every year. We get a little tired of it by June. Pie, crisp, and chutney are my favorite things to make with rhubarb.

Fresh-picked summer strawberries with balsamic, a little honey, and black pepper. So good!

I double the batch of pie crust just to do this. I use lots of butter and brown sugar, and just a little cinnamon, and sometimes raisins. So good!

I have had burned cds in a binder in my car since 1999 or so, which still play fine. I don't even zip up the binder. I still burn cds to listen to in the car, because mobile device music sounds terrible. But I live in a cold Northern state, so I probably don't know what summer is…
