And Superman, too, apparently. At least that guy from Duck Dynasty can't get much lower.

"Once" counts as quantity.

I had Barbie and the Rockers, which were totally Jem knockoffs.

I believe that's Pilot, ELO knockoff band extraordinaire.

I watched this puzzle with Hoedown by Emerson, Lake and Palmer in the background. It made it even more exciting!

Grape Nuts is like my third favorite cereal, behind original Shredded Wheat (the big squares) and Grape Nuts Flakes. Guess I prefer Post.

I had to check the bottle in my desk here at work. The shapes are: Fred, Barney, Wilma, Betty, Pebbles, BammBamm, Dino and The Great Gazoo, in assorted colors/flavors (red, orange, purple).

In my younger days, my friends and I tried a drinking game where we took a shot whenever Nicholas Cage did in "Leaving Las Vegas". I think I lasted a half-hour into the video, and there was a mess to clean up in the morning. Not a smart drinking game.

Ian Anderson announced on stage that Freddie Mercury had AIDS; it hadn't been announced in the US media yet, but was the cover of News of the World (ironically). So while it was a shock when it was announced and he

Then Paul Simon really would be the Only Living Boy in New York.

I'm a hard-core Simpson-phile too. That would be heartrending. As would the death of anyone from the Futurama cast - the death of Billy West or Katey Segal means no more resurrection…

I've been reading this whole thread, waiting to comment with Stephen King if nobody else did. Yup, I know he can churn them out, but he has some good stuff, and his most recent work is back up to par with his earliest.

I read Fast Food Nation after having been a vegetarian for 13 years. When I finished I went to Wendy's and got a double quarter pounder with cheese and bacon. It was the best burger I ever ate.

But Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem!
