Really like Jenn Wasner. I became aware of her through Big Data... the song she sings on is probably my favorite from that album:

I’m leaning this way too. It’s just too easy.

Hmmm.

So I posted this on Reddit but the Mr. Robot subreddit is SO BUSY it got buried, maybe someone smart can help me out over here:

I’ve worked at [SIMILAR BURRITO CHAIN COMPETITOR] for a while. I’m supposed to get a login for an online system that shows me what my hours are (after they are fixed in the computer because our clock-in system similarly fucks up) so I can match it up with my direct deposit. Every fucking time I’ve asked for it, I’ve

I know way too many people like this.

I didn’t even know this was a thing...

No worries, Mr. (?) Whatever!

Yeah, I posted it as another example of her failed winking... ?

The drawings are called “pins”. You can think of them as brooches, for millennials! You can place them onto whatever you like.

Honestly — how would I be able to form a union? I don’t think anyone at this job has stayed for over a year, never mind two. Our workers literally consist of: 5 college kids who took this as a summer job, and 2 guys who would refuse to do that because they need to keep a job (no skills, kids/kids on the way). I’m

Oh man. Now I’m grateful it hasn’t reached that level of horrid fucked up-ness over here!

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but Qdoba has the same working conditions. Except no one is making a petition about it because we all need a job.

This sounds like the new drop-in manager at my burrito chain. He wants us to do two separate people at a time, and ask them “salsa for you? salsa for you?” down the whole line. “It’s faster and easier!” he says, as he throws guac on the wrong burrito bowl and refuses to remake it for the customer.

Or they just straight up change your hours for the week and don’t give you access to view them like my job lol.

I signed the petition as a customer! But I’m sure that if I made a petition for the same conditions I experience at a similar burrito chain, I would be fired coincidentally have my hours drop to nothing. Fast food workers organizing is very difficult.

I’m not saying it’s right, but... isn’t this what most fast food jobs entail? It’s an understaffed underpaid hellhole where you’re doing 500 tasks at once with untrained first-job-teens. That’s The Typical Experience™.

I love him so much. Also, if you’re not listening to his group clipping. (he’s the vocalist), you are missing out 100%.

[S1 SPOILERS??? I GUESS???]
