counter-counter-point: there are several professions where one of your first lessons is learning the importance of “right typography for the right job.” my “actual work” involves picking the right font in accordance to the impression/mood that the company/magazine/website/ad/etc. wants to convey, and often dissuading

theres absolutely nothing “radical conscious” about cardi b or this video lol

I know a lot of people who use Latinx (pronounced “latin-ex”), although I am in a college “““SJW””” environment. Biggest supporters around here are Latinx people who picked it up from the internet. It’s spread pretty rapidly for a relatively new term, and whether you use Latinx, Latin@, Latino/a, or just Latino suppose

I saw a lovely product from Korea (supposedly a dupe of Missha’s Time Revolution First Treatment Essence, which in turn is a dupe for SK-II’s Facial Treatment Essence) called... “COSRX Galactomyces 95 White Power Essence.” Yeah.

i am amazed at how they can take something so simple, like... cerave moisturizing cream. they take cerave, add like 2 extracts and fragrance, put in a tiny container with a generic minimalist design with nostalgic stickers (!!!) made by some design intern during their lunch break. and they can sell the product for $20

Here’s a list of Glossier products and very similar, cheaper products. Glossier works with manufacturers and tweaks ready-made formulas in small ways (a few extracts, scents, etc). Whether or not these are “true dupes,” I will leave to your interpretation

Ahhhh, that explains it. I live in Jersey.

?? You can get OGX at like, CVS for $3 on sale. It’s not the 99¢ shampoo for sure, but it’s still pretty cheap.

<gossip>

I can’t tell if this is serious or sarcasm. I’m hoping it’s sarcasm?

She got a internship in the film industry. Chill.

I assume you listen to Against Me! and G.L.O.S.S, yeah?

Civil disobedience like shutting down a highway or traffic light for a set amount of time, in conjunction with other methods of action such as calls/protest/media ops/direct aid/etc., leads to results.
