I see my mother in both Regina King and Lili Taylor's character. But that was a hella Black Mom scene indeed.

Whitney being a surprise witness would rock my world.
AGREED with Cynthia Nixon as the therapist. It just makes sense for reasons I can't put my finger on. I loved the whole In Treatment vibe of Noah's half. I just want more of Noah's family. His sister and her low tolerance for his bullshit and his dad's air of menace.
This season has been completely underwhelming so far coming off the heels of a exceptionally underwhelming season 6. I was hoping that they would have announced that this was the last season so the Kings could have gotten their shit together to plan an ending to have the show go out on a high. Not this meandering mess.
Anyone else think the doc was giving off a Robert Downey Jr.'s brother kind of vibe? Anyway, GET IT, HELEN.
IT'S SO HARD BEING A SURPRISINGLY SUCCESSFUL WHITE MALE WRITER.
But her parents throwing barbs at each other is just the best.
Alison feels at ease being celibate and her mind is nice and clear but here comes Noah and his drug dick of misery to fuck up her life once more. That was probably the worst thing he's done in quite some time.
It was like they were just listing off the facts they found on Google.
OMG, I FORGOT ABOUT THE OTHER CHILD.
I love his March accent.
I'm **astounded** by the high grade since this episode was almost a complete waste of time.
Martin is a quiet storm so I can totally see that happening. Plus he's one of the few characters to really have an interaction with Scotty. I just had Alison in my head because it OBVIOUSLY isn't Noah and she always seems super-nervous during those court scenes. Of course it can be because her husband is heading to…
Martin is my second in line as the killer. Alison is the first because of how cagey she's been acting in nearly every scene in the present.
I don't know. I totally believe Helen should have strangled the youngest son after he kept screaming at her and grabbed her purse from her to show the cop. It would have only made things worse if she did but I would have allowed a few seconds of choking before I stopped her.
I LOVED this episode. I didn't want it to end. Helen had a fucked up day of epic proportions so her being in the car laughing at this massive fuck-up is totally appropriate.
At this point in time, I totally think it's Alison. Especially during he finale last season where she was like "do you trust me to get you out of this" or something like that.
I thought Cole's ending with the embrace with Alison was the ending he wanted to really have. I think in actuality, Alison probably just gave him a hug and said something comforting off-hand to him that meant everything in the world to him. That's an ending that he'll replay over and over in his head.
But they can totally build Anika up to be that person instead of bringing someone new in and neglecting her character even further. If Anika could be all #fuckCookie2015 and be the Krystle to her Alexis, it would actually drum up interest for her character and give her something to do.
Black men/people = apes/monkeys is just about on the level of offensiveness as people putting on makeup and doing blackface. It's a horrible connection that still gets attributed to black people today. It might not have been as bad since it's a black person partaking in such a thing but it's in total poor taste.…
