And both aired before 1996…

Every issue of Nintendo Power =/= Every issue that was published from 1988 to 2001

CBS used to own Viacom. They are completely separate corporate entities now, despite both having connections to Sumner Redstone.

So who is this movie supposed to appeal to exactly? As someone who grew up with Legends of the Hidden Temple, this looks way too cheesy/childish to enjoy even from a nostalgic perspective. Kids have no idea what LotHT even was and I can't imagine this movie looks particularly interesting to them.

Huh? Hurry Up, We're Dreaming is full of songs of that style. That whole album is A+

Did they even break up? Does anyone honestly still even care about Broken Social Scene?

Strong headliners, weak undercard.

Us Doug fans were the more highbrow children.

You realize three year olds don't have water cooler discussions about Sesame Street, right?

Oh my god stop, the episodes will still air on PBS

I feel like I'm the only person that really didn't like the first one. I was pumped after the positive reviews, but I really didn't see anything remotely special or unique about it. Pretty average, safe modern horror movie honestly.

Aziz'z parents were really sweet, funny, and charming, which is why it's so hard to criticize their bad acting. I actually cringed at his dad's final line of the episode though, really think that could have used a better take.

I actually enjoy his interviews because he's making a clear effort to let whoever he has on know that he did his homework. It still comes across a bit as college journalism student, but it's amusing.

Why doesn't AVClub do the oral history of On the Lot? I remember it well because it was so surreal how awful and slapped together it was. The Next Great American Band was equally as sloppy.

Watched the short last night. The scares were definitely effective, I was just very confused by the nature of the "ghost." Like is it her mom? Is it a demon spirit that lives in the camera?

I'm so sad that this show is doing so poorly in the ratings. I hope HBO keeps it around, it has so much growth potential.

Thank you! Primer was an objectively bad movie.

As an Arcade Fire fan, this album was painfully mediocre. It sounds more like a band trying really hard to sound like Arcade Fire rather than an actual Arcade Fire album. The dramatic emphasis Butler puts on his voice has always been kind of forced, but on Reflektor I just found it completely disingenuous. Funeral,

Was Fallon too busy?

Most of the album, while underwhelming and dull, is not overtly bad or even sonically displeasing. Pistol, however, may be the single worst thing they've ever recorded.
