He's talking about Father John Misty.

So you're telling me there's a chance?

Anyone else misread the headline as "British newscaster dies while introducing story about surfing dogs" and immediately wonder when Great Job, Internet got so morbid?

Thank you!! I wish Julian would do more music like that instead of the utter pile of garbage that is The Voidz.

The ratings don't really matter, the large majority of people are streaming it

I actually burst out laughing when the kid's head hit the sign.

This might actually be…a good move. It's not secret his TBS show has been less than stellar overall. Conan's always been best in remote pieces and when he's just talking to everyday people. He's never been the best celebrity interviewer, and being on once a week might make the show sharper, more focused and

Funny, because Emotion was an objectively better pop album than Love You to Death.

I feel like this kind of thing would be more useful for the mess that was Season 2.

There are companies that release estimates. Also Amazon has said themselves that their most watched show is Bosch, which I don't think anyone would have guessed.

I'm honestly most surprised by how much the Transparent cast makes, Tambor in particular. It's a great show, but it really doesn't pull huge numbers for Amazon.

So we're not going to stop giving convicted woman-beater Emile Hirsch work then?

Really? I actually thought this episode was significantly worse than the premiere. I found the pacing pretty odd and a lot of the jokes just didn't land.

I mean both are pretty unlistenable, but they sound completely different…

Bruh, you don't need to teach me The Shins as if I'm not familiar with their discography. To say "New Slang" sounds nothing like anything else they've done is dishonest. Wincing is a great album though, and Phantom Limb is one of my favs by them. That was almost 10 years ago though, and Port of Morrow was

Need some pepper with that salt?

I wouldn't describe The Shins as "ultra catchy." It ain't 2004 anymore and everyone has realized that Garden State was kind of a shit movie.

I find Zodiac to be weirdly overrated. The movie looked amazing and the atmosphere was fantastic, as often is the case with Fincher. Overall though I thought it dragged quite a bit and grew tedious.

I love Fincher, I just feel like he hasn't directed his magnum opus yet oddly. Don't get me wrong, Fight Club, Seven, and The Social Network are damn great, but they all hint at something brilliant that I don't think has been realized yet. So, it's a shame he'd waste his time with something like this.

How did it feel being a third tier child?
