I'm loving these sample pages. I dropped Green Arrow after 6 or 7 issues, mostly because I thought it started extremely strong (it was my fave Rebirth title at first) but then sort of petered out. Seeing this though makes me want to pick it up trades now. I like the emphasis on Dinah in this series, I hope that

I think I routinely threw for 5,000 yards per season with Moon. Maybe more!

Fulcher was a beast, I loved playing as Cincy for him, and their running game was solid too.

I must have lost years of my life playing this game. My goodness, I was addicted. It was so much fun! Some of my favorite teams and players to play as: Warren Moon and the Oilers, Bo Jackson, LT and the Giants, QB Eagles (Cunningham), the Bills.

Pizza Hut pizza, Jax cheese puffs, and McDonald's. There are more, I'm sure, but that's an unhealthy enough trifecta.

Yeah I haven't looked at the listing for the Epic Collection in a while but I don't think it's their entire run. Not sure though. Still, my best economic bet might be to get this one and wait for Marvel to release the next volume.

I keep meaning to pick up the new Doctor Strange Epic Collection that collects the Englehart and Brunner run from the '70s. I read that one in an Essential years ago and you want batshit crazy, that's some batshit crazy! It's glorious. That's what I want out of my Doctor Strange.

It certainly feels that way. I miss when superhero comics were batshit crazy and felt like they were flying by the seat of their pants (because they were!).

I'm a huge fan of Rodriguez. Just read the latest Spider-Woman trade and he absolutely killed it. There's a double-page spread of Jess fighting Skrulls and it's the most fun and badass thing I've seen in a while.

I read the first six issues of the current Aaron and Bachalo Strange book on Marvel Unlimited a while back. It was good stuff, but now I can't really remember much about it. That happens more and more often with new comics for me.

There's also the song, which I'm assuming both films cribbed their titles from.

I really loved her in Begin Again and thought she and Ruffalo were terrific as father and daughter. Plus her character's name was Violet, which is my daughter's name, so that made me smile.

Same thing happened to me. When I heard the news early in the morning of the 9th I just put my hands to my face and sobbed.

Her sidekick Garlic Girl. Her dog Meatball.

The bullshit is stacked so high and so deep right now. It's incredible how fast we've become buried in it.

The Saucier?

Michael Chabon's new novel is out next week. Yay!

I had a very similar experience last year. I was so sick that I could not lie down for fear of shitting right there in the bed. There were several times where I just barely made it to the toilet in time. It was horrendously stressful, not to mention how awful I was feeling physically due to this godawful stomach bug.

You helped motivate me, my friend.

Finished my binge watch of Twin Peaks. Wow, so good. I want to hang out with Dale Cooper and Gordon Cole, drink coffee, eat pie, and flirt with diner waitresses!
