Happy birthday! Sorry to hear about the voting fiasco though. That would annoy the hell out of me.

Seriously, no will power in this club at all. That's a main ingredient in being a comics lifer, I suppose.

Oh boy, that's a ways away then.

I did the same with the original Luke Cage before watching the Netflix series. I'm really curious about that '90s Iron Fist series so I hope it's on Marvel Unlimited because I probably shouldn't spend any more coin right now.

Any idea when Rebirth will be done? I'd like an endpoint to shoot for!

For a while I was only doing two monthlies. I felt good about that. Once Rebirth started though I picked up several more, and most of them are twice monthly which has definitely contributed to my feeling overwhelmed. But I'm also really enjoying all of the DC books I'm reading. So, it's tough.

Same for me: money and space are major issues. I'm definitely running out of room for storing comics. Plus I have huge to-read piles, full of both novels and graphic novels/collected editions. Every time I try to make some headway with those I think, ya know, I should just drop monthlies and I'd be perfectly content

Feeling overwhelmed.

I'm just behind you, reading the Iron Fist Epic Collection right now. I'm about twelve issues in, just at the start of the Claremont-Byrne run, which I've read before, years ago. Really looking forward to that re-read. Previous to this I'd read #1-16 of Luke Cage: Hero for Hire so it's been a fun tour through Marvel's

How's Green Lanterns so far?

Yeah I do love Allred and always love adding more of his comics to my collection!

I wasn't reading monthly comics when this came out, it was during a stretch where I'd dropped out of comics reading, at least partially. Consequently I missed this and have been meaning to read it ever since.

Yeah that's true, I'd forgotten that. How could I? Good grief, Perez Donna is outta site.

I imagine someone must have once uttered that exact same sentence in a porno.

Ya know, I don't see Preacher on that list. Maybe I'll snag that one. As someone who only read the entire series last year (or very early this year, can't recall) for the first time, I bet there are more qualified folks than I do write about it. But, it's still relatively fresh in my mind which is a good thing for

I heard him interviewed on a podcast once and he seemed really nice and genuinely thrilled by his opportunity to write comics.

So sorry to hear about your grandfather. I'm wishing you and your entire family the best in what I know is a really hard time.

Nice! I've already been part of a few good discussions there. The group seems like a good one so far. I haven't had a chance to listen to the show yet though.

Interesting. Have you read a lot of King? Is that typical of him? I've really only read Omega Men and that started pretty strong.

I love the dichotomy of Bob Clark having directed this and A Christmas Story.
