Slowly reading William Gibson's Neuormancer and Tom King's The Omega Men.

I'm only at episode six with Luke Cage and while I'm digging it I have wondered how they're going to pad this out for another eight episodes!

I'm finally reading Neuromancer and it's slow going so far. I don't that's the book's fault but mine because I've been so busy lately. All of the future-tech speak is a little overwhelming at times, but it's a really rich and evocative world Gibson created, plus I like the two leads (Molly, especially, is a lot of

I've been writing cult classic movie reviews for a movie website and this week they ran my appreciation of Elvira! I shared this in today's Elvira interview thread, but here it is in case you haven't been there (and if you haven't, drop everything and go read the most fun interview you'll likely read all year). Long

Linda Ronstadt. I never quite appreciated how amazing she was until recently. I keep coming back to her music lately, especially a live cover of "Tumbling Dice."

Thanks! And that's awesome to know! I love photos like that, they seem so random but there's always a good story behind them. I bet Hagman was a lot of fun too.

I know! She's perfect, dammit, in every way!

Thanks, I selected those photos myself! It was hard, grueling work, but someone had to do it.

I definitely know what you mean. The interview certainly ends with a bang, that's for sure. As if the crush I've been harboring for Elvira since I was a kid wasn't all-powerful enough, now she goes and tells us that?!

Dude, I said much the same thing in a piece I wrote for this website a few days ago. I rarely share this stuff on here, but seeing as we go way back here, ha ha, I figured why not. And as someone else who clearly gets Elvira, you might also like it.

You know, that's part of why I'll always love Elvira more than someone like Baccarin - both have been part of geek culture in their careers (Elvira far more so and for much longer, of course), but Elvira just seems to get it. I always remember hearing stories about how Sarah Michelle Gellar was uncomfortable with the

I didn't think it was possible to love Elvira/Cassandra Peterson more than I already did, but after reading this I think I do love her more than I already did. God, she's the best. She's so fun! A national treasure, I tell you!

I'm glad to hear things are looking up a bit! Let us know what you think of FallCon!

Sweet Christmas! There goes the neighborhood!

I don't think I've seen any interior pages from it, only the cover image. I'll be curious to see if it gets absolutely lambasted on social media and comics sites and groups.

Did they? I fell off with that show a while ago but I still try and see what they're covering and I've noticed no issues of Uncanny seem to be in their show notes of late.

I'm definitely curious about Cage. But it's partly to see if it's as troublesome as I fear it might be. I noted below that I just read a slew of the early Luke Cage, Hero for Hire issues this weekend. That had some cringe-worthy moments but was mostly a lot of fun.

Yup, same one. I have plans to read it all on Unlimited also. In fact, thanks for reminding me it's on there. It might actually jump ahead of some other planned reading this month because, after all, it's October! Perfect time to read it.

I love those early Iron Fist stories! I forget when Claremont and Byrne come aboard but they absolutely kick ass when they do. I haven't read these stories in years and I recently picked up the same Epic Collection. It's near the top of my reading pile so it's up soon in the rotation. Can't wait.

Yes to Saga of the Swamp Thing! I'd also add Tomb of Dracula - although I haven't read all of it but I love love love what I have read in the past.
