Absolutely. Here's to life and all its wonder!

Thanks for encouraging me to try it! I knew all along I'd love it, I just needed to do it! What would be your dream Sauvage commission? She's amazing. Does she have much of a presence on social media? I want to start following her, to know what jobs she's doing, because she's an artist I'd buy a book for, even if I

I'm really impressed with Marguerite Bennett's world building in this series so far. It's very well plotted and the characters are all so enjoyable to spend time with. I'd describe it as having the feel of a creator owned work, but she's playing with characters from DC's sandbox. It's fantastic.

Best of luck. I can't even imagine doing that now that we have kids. We just got replacement windows in our house, which has made a HUGE difference. The place looks spiffier just from the windows. But I can see outgrowing this house once the kids are a little older. So not looking forward to selling one house while

Now I want to run out and get a gyro!

Doing okay, thanks as always for asking us all :-)

I slept on it too and have been wanting to catch up ever since. The first volume is issues 1-6, then volume two is 7-12. Each issue seems to be about 30+ pages because I think they each collect three of the digital issues. Anyway, the trades will give you the first 12 issues. Amazon is telling me that volume 3 won't

Wonder Woman is a good choice for your sole superhero comic! She's such a fantastic character. Enjoy the trailer, too. Seriously, I rarely get that excited about trailers but that one really made me smile. June 2017 can't come fast enough!

That's a good deal, either way. It's so good, give it a shot!

Yes, Hard Promises is stellar. Thanks for reminding me. It might actually be the Petty album I reach for most often. The point here is, the man's had a hell of a career with several great records and we're all the better for having had him around, that's for sure.

I said it here yesterday, but the Wonder Woman trailer got me ridiculously excited for that movie. Not much else got me jazzed, really. I have yet to watch the Doctor Strange trailer and the Justice League one was good but not great. I can't even remember much of the comics news, frankly. I didn't hear about the Judas

I'm reading Velvet in trades and I'm counting down the days until the next one releases!

I think the art on those Suicide Squad issues was by Luke McDonnell. He was a polarizing artist back when he was working a lot for DC. I like some of what he's done (his work on the Deadshot mini from that era is great), but not other stuff. I've wanted to read Ostrander's run on that book and almost used the B&N sale

The first Bombshells trade, which I picked up in the two-for-one Comixology sale over the weekend. I was extremely happy with it! I'm so glad I finally took the plunge with this series. I'm hooked. Can't wait to read volume two! Seriously, my only complaint so far is that I wish Marguerite Sauvage illustrated all of

Are you still reading Black Panther? How's it been? I tried the first issue but didn't stick with it. I'm basically taking a break from current Marvel, with the exception of Black Widow, which I love so far. I'll likely try out some of these recent series on Marvel Unlimited.

Your experience mirrors mine very closely. And I remember it seemed like everyone in high school and college had these greatest hits too. It was just part of how we introduced ourselves to artists back then, no shame in that.

I tend to think of Damn the Torpedoes as his early career peak (and overall best album, period), and Wildflowers as his mid-career peak. They're both damn near perfect albums to me, so it's a real toss up between them.

The slow-mo and the action scenes made me as excited as I imagine I would have been if I'd seen this trailer when I was 13. Like, seriously, made me feel like a kid again. That power level downgrade is a bummer though, I agree. But that glowing lasso?!? God I can't wait for this movie.

Back in college in the '90s, this greatest hits really made me a fan of Tom Petty, which I've remained ever since. God I played this constantly, then came Wildflowers a year later and I just remember my friends and I being in full blown Petty fever mode during that stretch. I saw him at a huge outdoor ampitheater

Allred's first Eisner?!? That is crazy.
