Back then, terrible was the new great.

I read Green Arrow #1 also and loved it. I'm on board with that one for a while, at least. I think I'll even add it to my pull. I love Otto Schmidt's art, and I think Percy is presenting a good reminder of what makes Dinah and Ollie click. Great stuff so far.

Ah yes, I loved that one too. Definitely a gateway drug.

I think I have to go with either Batman the Animated Series or Justice League/Justice League Unlimited.

Love the avatar but I won't like, I'm disappointed it's not Amanda Conners' Power Girl :-(

That's why I want to read it! It sounds so contrary to most superhero comics of the time.

I know how it ends and that intrigues me, for sure.

I've heard that the original run is very strange too. Obviously it won't hold a candle to Morrison's strange, but the popular consensus seems to be the original run and the Morrison run are the ones to read.

I don't have a lot of history with the Doom Patrol—basically just some random issues here and there, other comics they guest starred in, and the first trade of Morrison's run. Has anyone here read the original '60s comics? I'd really like to, someday.

Mine has done that a few times over the years too. In theory, it's nice, but you have to be paying attention.

Yep, I made the mistake of telling myself "Just try three of them, the three you're most interested in from solicits." Well, I wound up really liking all three.

Pull lists are great until they're not.

I'm finding these are the kinds of books from Marvel I'm interested in lately - Spider-Woman, Soule's She-Hulk, current Black Widow by Waid and Samnee. The more personal and quirky stories with artists that reside outside "house style."

I had Spider-Woman vol. 1 (the new one) in my hands earlier and almost bought it but all my shops' copies had curled front covers. Plus as much as I love supporting the shop, and I do, I figured I can get it online for cheaper. I have to make those decisions sometimes because, frankly, I should not be spending any

No and I really should be. I keep saying I'll get it in trades but I've lost track of it…is it out in trade yet?

But aren't you only 14 now??

Yeah I love his art but these preview pages are not doing it for me. I'm sure he was rushed big time.

I really like Shalvey and Bellaire but I'd rather see them doing something other than this Marvel rehash.

Yup, I was definitely referring to '90s ska only.

Only saw a little of this show but damn I'd forgotten about Kristen Miller. She was the perfect late '90s/early '00s look that made me go weak in the knees.
