That's fired me up too, reading Breevort's and Spencer's comments earlier today. I really need to stop reading anything Breevort ever says because the man never fails to make me want to punch him. That said, my friend met him once and said he was great. Go figure. Public Breevort bugs me.

My deluxe edition copy of The New Frontier is in the mail, I should have it soon. Can't wait, I haven't read NF since it came out!

I love her with the intensity of a thousand burning suns, so this "she's likely dying" news I've been hearing for a month or so has caused me great upset.

I missed that agreement also (or I did see it but don't remember because we have 17-month old twins at home and they are slowly rotting away my capacity to remember anything beyond what just happened literally seconds earlier), but I'm fine waiting if that's what everyone wants to do.

I wish I'd been half-drunk whenever I read most of DC's New 52 offerings.

Now I want that cover!

Good I don't feel bad for missing this one then. I'm only reading one new Marvel book right now and nothing else I'm seeing is grabbing my eye that much - or if it is it's not enough for me to buy it now as opposed to waiting for it to pop up on Unlimited (or in the case of Spider-Woman which I am looking forward to,

I love when folks on here give reasonable and thoughtful responses! Thanks for all this!

Who's reading this book and is it any good? I'm genuinely curious because I love She-Hulk but I was bored silly by what I read of the first A-Force series.

You hit the nail squarely on the head over why this is irritating fans. Well done!

This multiple Superman(men?) thing is confusing me also. Argh, my head hurts.

I've never read much of him either, usually just when he appears in other people's books (like Daredevil, for instance). I hear anything Ennis did with him is great so it's on my list to check out someday. I'm definitely curious about that new Cloonan run, also.

I was actually hoping to discuss Rebirth today on here! I don't want to wait for tomorrow's comics thread! Yeah, that reveal wasn't spoiled for me (others were) so it definitely caught me off guard. I'm still not sure how I feel about it but I'm willing to see where DC goes with it.

I know, it makes you want to say "Oh go fuck yourselves, all y'all." Thankfully we can still find some great new books and get lost in them as a way to ignore this immature b.s.

My favorite response to all of this so far was Chris Evans' tweet about it. That dude rocks.

Franken-Castle was a helluva run. Batshit crazy but fun.

You're probably right about this latest stunt having very little lasting impact. And as insane and unpopular as some of Englehart's decisions were in those books, his Cap and Doctor Strange runs are ridiculously entertaining and some of my favorite wacky bronze age comics ever.

So, Nick Spencer fans, am I still supposed to think he's the greatest thing since sliced bread now? I've been hearing from everyone with a pulse how awesome he is, how awesome his Superior Foes was and how awesome his Ant-Man is so far. I haven't avoided him intentionally before, I just haven't picked up his books for

I saw that tweet of Spencer's and it pissed me off about this more than I already was pissed off about it. I've somehow managed to not really read much of Spencer's work - and I know, I know, Superior Foes was the greatest book in the history of the world from what everyone tells me - but after this bullshit stunt? I

What was the Marvel announcement? I realize by the time you reply I'll likely have Googled it and found out myself.
