No, just a serious mistake. Much like how despite the fact that I fully realize Linda Ronstadt and Pat Benitar are different people, I continually mix them up when I describe them to people.

I dunno, the theme to You're the Worst is kind of catchy.

It was Pablo Cruise. The pina colada song deserves it's own hatesong. In fact I'm throwing down the gauntlet to some famed personality to do one of these about that song.

Wasn't Armand Hammer a shipping magnate?

I made bread and butter pickles one year, turned out to be the worst damned food I've ever made; and that includes a shark steak that smelled like cat piss when I put it on the pan.

Hold the phone: they have jet skis in Antarctica?

You don't vote for a queen.

It would have been the most 1970's movie ever made, like how Phantom of the Paradise or Ken Russell's Tommy are simultaneously great movies and very very weird movies.

I always kind of wondered what happened to the writing staff of Maxim….

Well and good, but when the hell is You're the Worst returning to wherever the hell it's going?!?

It's not that incomprehensible:

Never had/seen them.

I like Soup. Both the album and the food.

" I feel like I did when I was 11!"

-"4 reasons the smaller holes on the cheese grater are the best holes"

Back then? I listened to albums all stoned and not doing shit like a week ago. It was glorious.

That album really sounds like it was written a guy who is relieved and relaxed, a guy who survived some shit and is now content to live a quiet life. A guy who deserves the peace he found. I now wish I hadn't lend my copy of it to a friend, otherwise I'd listen to it as we speak.

So which Japanese artist painted the octopus pleasuring a lady?

I just don't see the staff of the AV Club being really into cars as much as the average Top Gear fan.
