I know, the reason I didn't care about the Netherlands group winning is that… they were actually too good. Like they were a legitimate music act as opposed to some fun gaudy spectacle meant especially for Eurovision. Even if they don't win, their music careers are gonna be fine, y'know?

Whoa, whoa. Lordi was no fluke. Lordi was only the greatest winner of Eurovision ever because they fucking deserved it.

Oh, thanks, I guess. I'm just glad there's so many shitty people on the internet making me look good by comparison.

Oh, no! Not an iPod touch! That's so uncool of you, Monty!

It would be a good choice to get reacquainted with Malle! I liked it a lot.

Mohd., what level French are you taking? I'm still in A2. :(

I've been spending a lot of time Across the Street, so I thought I'd come back here and spend some time at Mom's Place. Watched loads of TV and movies, many with lady protagonists: Hannibal (on TV, not the movie), Kill Bill Vol. 2, Insiang, Earth (Zemlya), Love (Szerelem), Charulata, a li'l bit of Orange is the New

Oh I'm so glad you were goofing, cos I was not gonna apologize, haha

I was excited that the miniseries was finally gonna air so we'd get a reprieve from those watermarks in the final episodes, but then the watermarks for that John Malkovich shit started showing… oy.

I don't know, when they found her it seemed like she'd been stuck in that well for a long time.

I can't tell if you're serious… how far behind are you on Mad Men??

I'm going to pretend the Canadian government required them to pay homage to classic Canadian body horror in order for Hannibal to film in their country.

It's definitely fascinating to witness the way evil manifests itself in the two. Mason is unhinged, like he could explode any time. Even if he's making plans, he seems impulsive. Whereas Hannibal is so in control of every one, and definitely thinking several steps ahead in his plans.

I think for those who are familiar with the books (or have had the books spoiled to them, as it happened to me), the implications of his short eyes are pretty clear, and for those who aren't familiar with the books… can sleep a bit more easily at night. But only a bit more.

Well, if they hadn't been introduced as such smarmy, despicable characters, it wouldn't be nearly as fun to kinda root for them now.

Oh man, I haven't been that excited about seeing someone getting punched in the face since Lane decked Pete on Mad Men.

I watched that entire scene pretending that it was Mikkelsen reacting to Pitt's acting. "This fucking guy…"

To be honest, Community's run was so damn weird (losing Harmon and getting him back, especially). They really accomplished so much with the little support they were given by the network, so even though it's sad, I'm glad that it got to exist for as long as it did.

BTW, those scenes between Mason and Hannibal were so funny, Hannibal looked so irritated with him, like, "Ugh, I may be evil but I don't need to twirl my mustache."

Hm, of all the shitty weird stuff that happens on this show, this one was a little too real for me. Just cos historically there have been instances of forced sterilization and stuff. Yikes.
