I'm gonna have to look up El Perro! I'm always up for good Latin American cinema.

That argument scene was amazing. What was up with Andie telling the men in her life to man up? Her dad, Duckie, Blane… Geez.

I'm really fascinated, what don't you like about Molly Ringwald? I didn't really love her character in this movie. I liked her better when she played a snooty rich girl in The Breakfast Club.

Aha! I spent the entire movie wondering who was gonna make it out alive. I only thought it would be one person (and couldn't decide which one), and then I got the nagging feeling it wouldn't be any of them. Really interesting that Romero changed his mind.

The video wasn't scary anymore but that ending is still a bit unnerving.

Oh, I just love Michael Polley's voice. It was so cool to realize he wrote the whole narration, too. Really beautiful.

I'm really sorry about your friend. Feel better soon.

Wish I had the money to see them!

I cracked up throughout Llewyn. I only felt bad about it because the other people in my theater were mostly quiet and I felt like I was infringing on their right to have a complete lack of sense of humor.

Ehh… as fun as Sherlock may be, it's become the kind of show that can wait.

Wait why did you pick 1984?

Aw, I actually like Frankie Boyle. I feel like it got to the point where people would just wait for him to say the worst things, and unfortunately he indulged them in saying those things just so he could get a reaction, ANY reaction. Also, I don't think an hour long set is a good format for him. I've liked him on

OMG. Where did they show Akira?? Would love to see it on a big screen.

Man, I'm a bit iffy on Westerns but I just saw High Noon last week and it was AWESOME. I loved that it was so short (and that the idea of "time running out" was so important) and I loved the two main actresses and that main theme song was so damn catchy. LOVED IT.

I really loved Oona Chaplin in S02 of The Hour. I'm glad they developed her character and she did a great job—really found her to be the highlight of that season, which I found just as wobbly as the first. Really too bad the show got axed, though, I really enjoyed that setting and those characters.

Oh, are you planning on watching I, Frankenstein? How come?? (I hope I don't sound judgmental, I'm really quite curious whether you're serious about seeing it.)

Sam & Lindsay's parents were the best. I love them so much. I'm glad you're enjoying the show!

I guess. I actually enjoyed Our Hospitality more, have you seen that one?

D00d. Recently I watched Juve vs. Fantômas (that's the 2nd in the series) and even though it was preposterous and goofy there were definitely moments I was at the edge of my seat. It was a riot, I fucking loved it!

I've definitely felt down on pop culture on occasion. Hope it doesn't last too long for you.
