It's too bad you didn't enjoy Vampyr, it's one of my favorite Dreyer films. At least you gave it a try, which is honorable. I hope you don't write him off completely though, since most of the Dreyer films I've seen have not been like that one AT ALL. Maybe one of them will speak to you.

Watched loads of stuff!!!

I loved that the female characters had to be resourceful and brave and work together. The actresses did a great job.

That's really awful to hear. Thank god I only liked him for his body, haha. He really was a beautiful creature back in the days.

I thought Elementary has its own tumblr devotees, am I wrong about this? I assume it's much smaller but I don't doubt they're just as enthusiastic.

Yeah, I'm gonna wait around a little bit to watch it cos the first one was so intense. I love that the BOPE dude's narration is pretty calm and matter of fact but he's totally buggin' onscreen.

Not to start a fight, but there's no fucking way that Jude Law in his prime compares to Alain Delon in his prime.

Yep. I really love police procedurals and the more boring and procedure-oriented they are, the better. (ILU, Prime Suspect!) I wish we were focusing more on the mystery stuff. I'll have to let this season of Sherlock marinate so I can get used to this new version of the show that focuses more on the friendships.

I thought the picture to this post would be Cumbersnatch…

I know it's lazy and I should let my imagination fly, but I really believe that Sherlock's confession to Anderson WAS the truth. Convoluted explanations, all of them, but I'm sticking with that last one.

Yeah, it's the Spanish horror movie and I'm confused about the title, too, I think it has several in English. But I've decided I'm sticking with that one!

Haha, damn near everything is right. My "save" list is getting pretty long compared to my actual queue. Maybe I shouldn't have signed up so late in the game. I was assuming the service will die off after this or, at the latest, next year.

No worries, I'll try to figure it out. Either way, welcome to the dark side.

It's not even on the shortlist.

Best of luck with your move!

Ha! I just signed up, too, and basically the same thing happened to me. I should have known; I only signed up because it seems like the service is gonna die off any day now.

You caved on Letterboxd! So what's up, are you just going to put links to your blog reviews? I'm going to try and add you, if I can get your link to work…

In each season of Sherlock, the second ep has always been my least favorite.

I heard about that 3D Sholay. Man, I'd love to see that movie on a big screen, especially that "Festival of Colors" bit.

Did you like Judy Blume growing up?
