Thanks for the advice!

Trying out NuDisqus (!!)… So should I jump back into Homeland? And if so, which eps from last season should I bother with and which should I skip? Would appreciate y'alls opinions.

That's crazy. Glad to hear you're okay.

Sorry you had a tough weekend :(

Oh. I'm going to miss the updates. I was looking forward to us all celebrating a whole year of your sobriety—it's almost there, can you believe it? Just step by step. I'm so excited for you and all that you've accomplished. We're going to miss you.

Uhh… I didn't realize it was pronounced that way. Golly, you learn something everyday.

Wish you luck in the real world! Think of us once in a while. :)

I haven't seen the movie but in recent months I've heard several sources sort of reassessing the movie (like this), so you're definitely not alone.

You actually make As I Lay Dying sound kinda interesting. I wish Franco would just go away for a little bit, make a few short films, hone his skills and THEN try to tackle literary masters. I respect the ambition, but it's like he can't do anything really REALLY well.

Er, have you seen Babel?

Yep, I segregate my film, music and theater/dance books from the rest of my nonfic. I'd ask for a shelfie, but I don't want to be the kind of asshole who uses words like "shelfie."

Feel better soon!!

I had to google what that meant! I'm glad you weren't referring to something filthy.

One of my friends described watching Fincher's Seven as the equivalent of an episode CSI or NCIS.

My first Herzog was Aguirre and I really loved it.  I bet it's gonna be awesome on a big screen.

A couple of Nolans: Memento and The Prestige.

Aww feel better soon.  I'm sorry about your health issues.

Congrats on your first weekend post.  Hope you stick around. :)

Yay, happy birthday.

Yah, wonderful writer.  Really excited about this book.
