They overdid it with him, and now I'm bored anytime Rowan drops in on an episode.

That I can agree with - Arya had a physically rougher experience in the 4 seasons, while Sansa's experience felt rougher psychologically (while being physically basically entirely unharmed).

"Whereas Sansa’s emotional journey has always remained within a stone’s throw of her past, Arya has gone through a much more significant transformation—although they share many of the same tragedies, Arya has remained closer to them. "

I actually really liked Betty in this episode. She sort of has a nice rapport with Sally; she dealt with Glen putting moves on her as best she could, and actually seems to come out of it without being super self centered about things.

ikr. Sure, wuxia wasn't really in the popular culture in america until crouching tiger hidden dragon was a big hit - usually wuxia movies were more of an indie/arthouse/cult type movie - but it obviously had existed for many many years in the popular cultures of the asian entertainment industry, of which Eddie being

I agree. Of the two, Shaolin soccer was better. Kung Fu Hustle was a more polished movie (by hk standards), but shaolin soccer was funnier, and had the better arc and story overall.

it just seemed like they could have been more economical with it, what with only a handful of eps left, to convey the same exact feeling and message.

I didn't hate the episode, but I did feel like most of it could have been condensed and warranted much less time than it took. Would have liked to see more of the work stuff, or other characters rather than all the Don/Megan/Diana/etc stuff filling up an entire episode when we have so few left as it is.

So what exactly was the deal with Mimi Rogers?

I don't think the show looks cheaper tha before, tbh. I'm very much enjoying the season and the show, besides being longer, budget wise seems comparable to the other recent seasons of the show in appearance.

motherflipping BRIAN KRAKOW!!!!!!!!!

Oh no, Paul in his garb does the job quite well. :D

Ah, the memories of Paul looking like Varys in his Hare Krishna garb….

The Pope team basically consists of Olivia, daughter of ex command Rowan (or is he command now? I don't even remember, or care…), and the rest of her team is Huck, Quinn, and Jake, it's actually kind of a wonder that that Pope does any normal consultancy at all and isn't full time doing something that's related to B613

I'm not sure, the first two episodes seem mostly like table setting since they have to integrate new characters and start over (much like S5), so I'm not sure if it's a location thing or just them needing the time to introduce the new peeps.

Oooo, David Anders seems kind of awesomely fun!

So, basically, deadline is being like the menimists on parks. "We are sick and tired of this feminized society! Men have had a very rough go of it for just recently and it ends now!"

I think they're doing a really good job integrating Frankie into the group, and writing a character who has the similarities with all the characters, but manages to be funny and weird in a different way than any of them as well.

One of my favorite things about the episode is how Carol is presenting herself as the den mom and entirely unthreatening to the new community.
