Watch Deadwood and then talk to me about lazy language.

There's no such thing as a 'barrel-maker". It's "cooper" you son of a bitch.

I bet some other Republican put him up to it, probably former Secretary of State James Baker.

Those innocent heroin addicts are white. It's the black drug dealers from out of state who are really responsible.

When Albrecht of Mainz jerks off, the indulgence is but twelve pfennigs, for the sin is so TINY!

Mr. Piss Goes to Washington

Question: why do they call it taking a dump instead of leaving it? You're not taking it anywhere. Funk that!

"the more serious inconvenience"

It's partly true, partly a myth.It was mostly dogs or bears rather than fancy imported lions and apparently it never actually took place in the Colloseum. But plenty of early Christians did get killed over their religion. Which is basically the same exact thing as saying "Happy Holidays!" Enjoy the rest of Hanukkah.

I'm not sure how pathological it was. I mean, they were being fed to lions, and there was that one dude with the cross, although to be fair he was Jewish.

The Handmaid's Tale, obviously, if she hasn't read it. Station Eleven is also quite good.

The problem with our rushing is that we'll miss Gronk so much in the run game, both his sublime blocking and our ability to run two tight end sets. There's no replacing that.

When FedEx contributes $50,000 to your reelection campaign, it's a real "Cargo Lobby Moment".

Book of the Long Sun is very good, and Short Sun is worth reading, but in my opinion neither is as good as New Sun or The Fifth Head of Cerberus.

Do yourself a favor and read it again in about six months or a year. Those books are so damn deep.

I'm sympathetic, but policing art based on the creator's politics is like Hollywood blacklist level shit. Doesn't sound like a great loss in this case, but I'm still not down.

"a sketch show with purported ties to the alt-right"

Romney's a basically decent man who loves his country and is willing to ditch all that completely if it looks like the right play. I don't even say that acrimoniously; he's miles better than most Republicans. But don't bet on him standing up for truth, justice, and the American way unless there's a payoff.

If you put Trump and Morrissey in a cage overnight, who would walk out in the morning?
