I'm jackin' it.
I'm jackin' it.
That opening pic makes it look awesome.
Later the Next Generation theme.
Or "Maxwell's Silver Hammer."
Would be cool to know what those 32 songs are. He must think they're the most important.
No, but I can understand the difficulties of transferring a long text to a 1 & 1/2-2 hour film. With 6, 7 (?) episodes though, they certainly had enough time to tell the story in a manner more faithful to the source material. This monstrosity strayed far from the farm.
The other creators.
I'm envious. I really, really wanted to like the adaption. It just isn't getting for me. It's just too different from the book, and I don't understand why the changes made were made. It's as if the screenwriter(s) didn't actually read the novel.
Lol. Nope, I'm done with it. I gave it three episodes and even subscribed to Hulu just for it. No more.
30 episodes of scat.

I'm as unhappy with this adaption as Stephen King was with Kubrick's treatment of "The Shining."
But it's SO different than the novel. I cannot enjoy it.
Ok. My vision of what such an adaption could have been has been ruined.
I'm beginning to wonder if the screenwriters read the same book I did, if at all. Maybe they skimmed the Wikiedia entry.
I agree that it required a film or TV adaption. Just not this one.
