I'm excited to see this based solely on the fact that they had the nerve to call it White Girl. Clearly this film is commenting on all the things you mentioned. Or they're stupid. Either way: seeing it

I think rating movies in hindsight because of what's politically correct in today's society is real dumb, BUT, i went back and watched the Hangover 1 recently and holy shit does it not hold up in that regard.

In my circles there are a few obnoxious folks who are voting trump in the bernie loss aftermath. To me it generally just feels like they're nihilists, and I think a lot of trump supporters are, even if they don't know it

Not that it's a shining example of anything but the thing that pissed me off more than ANYTHING else in God's Not Dead was that a professor would ever give their student an assignment like prove god exists just based on him mouthing off in class.

So true.

Like party down but with roadies instead of caterers…i love it

man y'all are some lonely fucks, this is very adorable

I really believe pop music today has taken a big step up, just from a production stand point. Like they're totally aping a style that's been done before but in comparison to 90s and early 2000s I feel this generation of producers and songwriters just have better taste. Or taste that aligns with mine more.

YEAH Fuck the awful AVclub for trying to expose people they actually enjoy to the public eye, and even attempting to do it in a way that gives them a platform to riff on a subject rather than just a shallow plug. They're monsters!

SPOILERS:

I thought the ending was pretty happy…and was the only glimpse into Bo the dude instead of Bo the performer, but maybe I read that wrong

Also stay the hell away from my kids bry

I will share a good story about Adam: We were attending a screening of Blended, and before test screenings he always ate dinner at a chain restaurant nearby with his brother, his wife, the director, and some of the producers/post team. He always tries to keep it low profile, but this particular night he got noticed

honestly i think they'd be way better, because it'd mean that people with actual expertise were making decisions…just my opinion though

yeah that's a very apt comparison (without the creepiness of course). I also think Adam kinda puts himself into a corner with each film. Like he doesn't realize what he has until it's too late to fix then he gets mad that he's made a bad movie

eh I kinda regret commenting that because it'd just be here-say stories and kind of your run of the mill angry hollywood dude stories.

I dunno if you're being sarcastic, but having met and worked for him….he's not

This is so accurate

yea i love seeing Whit at shows, he's always super funny. I just really wanna be friends with him honestly, I think we'd get along

i dont even care if it's true you have no idea how good you made me feel with your comment.
