I think the biggest issue I'm having with the X-books at the moment is that the jettisoned so many characters that they don't feel like the X-men anymore.
I don't feel like there is a cohesive vision for the X-men right now.
I can't believe Marvel is still trying to make the InHumans a thing
I'm not sure that airing Star Trek would bring new viewers to CBS. I really feel like Genre shows like this belong on Netflix or Amazon. Even AMC or HBO allow a certain freedom from having to fit a network tv mold.
The benefit of streaming services is that it gives audiences time to discover good shows. Networks require a show to grab it's audiences right out of the gate, but there are so many points of failure there, poor promotion can lead to people not even knowing a show exists. Word of mouth might take time to build but…
Also famous people in real life are like meeting someone from a dating site in real life and realizing they look nothing like their profile
I'm going to predict that Trump lasts 2 years as president and resigns. It's a difficult time consuming job and Trump doesn't strike me as a particularly dedicated hard worker.
Trump won because he cashed in on the fears on unemployed/underemployed American's who blame immigration, trade deals etc for their plight. However exploiting those fears and actually doing something meaningful to improve the economy are 2 different things. Trump is a personality and just capitalizes on people. Trump…
shh, don't give anyone any ideas. Next up the Cereal Cinematic Universe depicting the rise of Cap'n crunch through the ranks.
Put him on X-men, anything is better then the disaster that series has turned into.
I wonder how much of the seeming change in the house style is due to Fiege getting more leeway with Disney? From what I have heard the score is one of the best so far for Marvel.
You forgot Golden Palace
Thunderbolt and Lightning, very very frightening
I think the problem with all of the Langdon movies is that Tom Hanks is not the right person for the role and Howard, while a workhorse, just isn't up for these type of pulpy thrillers. Howard is a solid director if the material is already great, ie Apollo 13.
Personally I think the tension in the first movie with the airplane was one of the most intense sequences in a movie.
I think the problem with DD S1's last episode is more with the execution then any story issues. It doesn't have the same visual flair as the previous episodes, I blame that mostly on Deknight directing.
I may be in the minority but I enjoyed the show more when Diamondback came in then Cottenmouth.
and don't forget wrote. Granted it was probably only 10 words in a whole issue.
But will it be faithful to the cartoon and have CP only show up for 3 minutes, 2 of which will be spent watching CP suffering because he stepped in a puddle of oil and lost his powers.
The Deathly Hallows , especially the 2nd part works much better if you watch it continuosly after the 1st part.
