I love some of the details on this show. I believe Norman was reading aloud to Norma (in the kitchen) from "Great Expectations". And the passage was Pip describing the negative impact Estella (and his love for her) has had on his life. A poignant detail that just emphasized the sense of sadness and foreboding. What

It was almost like a caricature of the perfect front desk clerk/manager.

It got to me when he said "I know you love me, and that's the heartbreak of it all". Even in his delusional state, he spoke the truth in that line. It was devastating.

Norma; "I'm human. I don't know how to handle everything under the sun perfectly".
Understatement of the year. But she's trying. Bless her poor little dysfunctional heart, she's trying so hard. It's just too little too late. And so sad.

I clicked on that and actually flinched.

Agree with every word. I tittered at Norma in her rain gear and galoshes, but it was that nervous sort of laughter and made me realize how tense I was. And sad.

I read an article (I think in Entertainment Weekly) in which the cast was talking about how upset they all were when they saw the script for the last episode of the season. Andrew Lincoln said he was late for work on one day of filming because he couldn't sleep the night before. Lauren Cohan said she didn't want to

There will be just enough time to see him swing Lucille, and I'm dreading seeing who'll meet her.

Goo-goo-ga-joob.
I think Eugene might be the walrus, though.

Ah, yes. I believe you and I once had a fun conversation about Eugene (and his mullet). I noticed that little glimpse of him face-to-face with a walker in the promo for next week. Even though he has some new-found courage and a little fighting ability, it doesn't bode well for him. And they haven't given him much to

Oh! I loved Dale. Before things got so tense between everyone at the farm, he had some wonderful scenes with various characters back when they were stuck on the freeway, especially with Glenn and T-Dog. He was sort of like my favorite uncle. And he had a little twinkle in his eyes in those days. I still miss him!
I'm

No problem. I spent a lot of time the last few months with two old, sick cats. My own inane ramblings are what got me through it. And yours weren't boring.
I sincerely hope kitty gets better.
Give him/her a gentle ear-rub for me.

I second that!

It really was. No matter how big a hurry they were in, or how much danger, Monroe couldn't have resisted doing a running commentary on a find like that.

With his hair just a little bit tousled…and a bit of a glower…

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really. That was a perfectly logical reason to rip that sucker right off.

Started off with the epigram being one of my favorite lines from Shakespeare..then sparkly jewel-encrusted skeletons in underground catacombs…roaming around in a forest at night…ending with Monroe being the recipient of a miracle by what might be a piece of the True Cross. The history/literature buff and romantic in

But…he didn't even take a picture!!!!

I know! He didn't even take a picture!!!
