I'm starting to, but I've always enjoyed his soft-and-fuzzy side. And I agree with your analysis of his nature.

I wondered about that, too, while reading The Red Dragon. Even that idea gave me the heebie-jeebies…one of the reasons I never re-read it. I found the book engrossing, but frightening on so many levels.
Ha! The operative phrase being "used to be". Hannibal's courtly and refined facade is slipping. And I don't remember Will being bitchy, but then I've probably always been blinded by his love of and kindness toward animals (the furry kind, not serial-killer kind).
I'm not sure who's becoming bitchier…Hannibal or Will. They're both developing a penchant for sheer bitchiness and snarkiness.
Yeah, they both know they're engaging in a verbal game of one-upsmanship, and snarkiness.
I was replying to someone who had just referred to them as therapy sessions. And, they are depicted as such, even though they're really much more.
Happy Belated Birthday…and many more!
P.S. Every time I see your avatar I miss Deadwood.
It wasn't a very refined gesture. Hannibal has lost some of his elegance (and table manners) in prison.
But…but….I want more puppies, just like I want more of this show.
This show has given us many things I don't ever want to see again…and wish I never had…and wish no one ever had, for the sake of overall public mental health.
I'll miss the show, too. And although the characters are supremely interesting, I don't think I'd want ANY of them as friends. …except maybe Molly…and the dogs.
I might as well have had a panty-liner over my eyes considering how much of that whole ordeal I had my eyes averted.
Okay….SOME things that remind me of Justified are sexy. And then those things they remind me of are sexy….Raylan, Tim, Raylan's hat, the dialogue, Raylan, the Southerness of it all, Raylan….
We Kentuckians know sexy.
And thank you for the hearty laugh you gave me. Anyone who's still up at 4:30am needs a good laugh.
Hmmm….I like them both. I guess there's Sexy Duck Cop and Sexier Duck Cop, but I'm not sure which is which.
Of course, beards are sexy, too.
Actually, everything that reminds me of Justified is sexy. It's an affliction.
She's awake now. I (loudly) called her Queen Fluffetta and told her what you said. Her Highness purringly grants forgiveness.
He really did do some fine acting. I can't imagine anyone doing a better job of conveying such fear, all while hoping and trying to wheedle Francis into letting him live.
Oh, and Fluffetta (don't laugh) was sound asleep on the remote. She's 18, can't see or hear very well anymore, and so sleeps a lot. She's an…
"..a rabid dog in search of a bullet." Perfect. I'm not sure which Sexy Duck Cop I like best…the serious one or the hilarious one.
Yes! Slowly…winding……down.
I know. Even though I found that one moment funny, the thought of what he went through afterward snaps me right out of it. And I had to do some of my usual eye-averting during much of it. At one point I was frantically trying to find the remote to either change channels or hit the mute button (although I can always…
I enjoy those sessions, too. But it's hard for me to think of them as therapy, as Bedelia is clearly off her rocker. I think Will is aware of that, but he enjoys these little games of one-upsmanship too much to stop. He gets to exercise his snarky side with her. However, her near robotic way of speaking and…
