That just keeps you on top of your game…and your reflexes highly honed.

Oh, thank you for that belly laugh!
Go ahead and pet him/her anyway..even if you acquire a scratch or two, you'll be in no danger of losing a hand (?).
I've done a lot of animal rescue, and luckily have seldom been scratched (and never bitten, even by the most frightened dogs or cats…or bunnies).
And all of my own

I think Will is more fascinated by Hannibal (and on more levels) than he has been by anyone..ever…in a lifetime of empathetic studying of people…and that's given Hannibal a power, an inexorable pull that no one else has ever had. Although, it has weakened, thank goodness.

When Hannibal said "tick tock" I wanted to slap him right across the mouth (then draw my hand away very quickly, of course).

Yes, I also took it as a nod to his grandmother and the abuse he took at her hands (in the book)…which makes it even creepier that he keeps it in his bedroom, or that he sleeps in her bedroom, and chose to have sex in that room with it sitting there.
Sheesh…he's every bit as messed up (or more so) as Norman Bates.

The tiger scene was both beautiful and poignant, as it was in Manhunter. As an animal lover and someone who appreciates the beauty and grace of all felines, it touched my heart and made me think of a quotation I once read…"God made the cat so that man may know what it is to caress the tiger." Our little house cats are

Trump would, for once, be speechless. All he would be able to do is that silly gesture with his hands over and over. You know..the one like he's measuring something…from shorter to longer. Over and over…with his lips pursed but no sound…

That's good advice for anyone seriously contemplating a major move.
I think I'd miss the same things you do, but in Florida I'd still hear a kind of southern accent.
I've never visited Chicago, but I know there's a lot to see and do there. I'm a history buff so I love museums…always wanted to go to The Field Museum.

I laughed that time…even better!

Interesting theory, can't wait to see how it pans out.
So I'm reading back through these comments, feeling a little sad, and I see your username and avatar…and it makes me smile. Very clever…and any reminder of Justified and/or Deadwood perks me right up. Thanks for that.

I'm glad to hear from another Kentuckian/Justified fan. You've done what I might eventually do, but it sounds like you're really homesick. I've been going to Florida (for vacations) since childhood and have always wanted to live in a coastal community. If I do move, I know my sentimental nature will make me miss

Oh, I'm sorry but the ceramic frog's head made me laugh. Don't begrudge me that, I needed a chuckle.
I'm not a religious person either in the traditional sense, but do consider myself spiritual. I believe that if we have souls, so do animals…and after all, we're a
species of animal ourselves. People seem to forget

Thank you so much. I truly appreciate your kind words.

Oh, I don't think you're weird. If you are, then so am I….birds of a feather. The ones I've had cremated are each in a pretty urn, on the mantel. Is there something unusual about your urns?
The others are buried in my father's back yard, which is now like a pet cemetery as he's put family pets there since I was a

Head butts are good medicine.
Thanks again.

Thank you. I remember enjoying chatting with you last week, and I appreciate your kind words this week.

That Jack, he's a pistol!

Well, with Hannibal's vivid imagination and ability to amuse himself, who knows? He might go for the realism of embalming fluid, or the idea of a variation on the usual bloodiness. I'm assuming he was remembering (or they're showing us) what he and Abigail actually did.
But my point is, this show often gives you

Maybe skipping a little, or humming a bit as he galloped through. He does seem quite content and happy with himself lately.

Yes, complete with everything…except, there's no window from which someone could be defenestrated, is there?
