Agreed, agreed, agreed all around…every point you made. And your avatar makes me smile.

I didn't know if the corpse was really there and Hannibal was remembering an actual event …or if he was just daydreaming in his mind palace about what he would have liked to have done…or if I was imagining things. Well, not really…but this show does sometimes make me wonder exactly what's going on, or if I've missed…
..and on a high note, couldn't have been better (although I still have withdrawal symptoms)!
It does indeed help. I'm happy that my post made you feel a little less anxious about the future. Eleven is considered "senior citizen" status, but with good care they often live many more years, with good quality of life. Up until a few weeks ago, Mystic looked and acted like a much younger cat. And I still have…
Perish the thought! Like your avatar. Had Twain on the brain just a few comments ago.
Thank you, Sweetie. Pet Jimmy Page for me.
Me, neither. That's a BIG red flag. In the immortal words of Monty Python…"Run away! Run away! "
What a beautiful reply…makes me misty. I like to picture her in a place much like you described, with the other cats and dogs (and a couple of bunnies) I've loved from childhood on…all together.
Thank you so much for your kind, lovely words. It helps.
That's sort of like picturing Queen Elizabeth in a thong.
You're exactly right. I commented (just a few episodes ago) that Will was so far gone I didn't know how they'd ever make Happily-Married-Will believable. And like you, I'm astonished that they've done it…and I've bought it without hesitation.
This episode was bad timing for me. Had to bury my very sweet and much-loved 17-yr old cat today. Thought maybe I could get my mind off things by watching Hannibal. Only to see them unearth a beloved family cat. At least one of the guys showed sympathy for it. And it did help that Will adopted the unclaimed dog.…
Exactly! Mark Twain popped into my head, too…but in the form of Huck Finn.
He did in the book and in Manhunter, too.
Let's keep our fingers crossed for Will's dogs. The writers just can't do that to us!
Was it? I read the book, but so long ago that little things like that are fresh to me, all over again.
Oh, no no…don't want that image in my head! Trying to think happy thoughts.
Followed by Molly's vivid description of Randy's…attributes. Cracked me up, too.
That sounds about right, although I don't remember what the other one was.
Oh, how I love Will for adopting the unclaimed dog!!
And how great was it to see him smiling and laughing happily with Molly, like a normal human being?!!
Very insightful…makes a lot of sense. I found Wesley's actions believable precisely because he was such a mess emotionally. …and exhausted, too.
