You're right, I think celebrities ARE comfortable and having fun…because Jimmy is like a friendly, excitable puppy. I don't consider it "fawning" over them as much as he likes everyone and their work. If his demeanor was fake it would be a different story, but by all accounts he 's a really nice guy who genuinely

That's a blast from the past! I once had a long and interesting conversation with William Katt…they had a lot of fun on that show.

Raylan was ALWAYS ready to draw his gun at a moment's notice…even in bed! And looked all kinds of imposing (and impressive) whatever he was doing. Oh, man…I thought I was starting to recover from the loss of Justified and you have brought back the pain! I'm trying to recuperate, but I don't know if any show will

I suspected her of being the opposite of what she seems, too…but it showed her looking terrified when she was completely alone. Unless there are two versions of her.

I didn't recognize him last week, but the light bulb over my head lit up during this episode. BTW, he was sort of menacing (and really good) in Joss Whedon's version of "Much Ado About Nothing."

Also, he was terrific in Joss Whedon's version of "Much Ado About Nothing".

I get what you mean. Dillon has that same stoic, slightly frowning, squinty-eyed thing going on that you see a lot in Madsen's expression. All Dillon needed to complete the look was a cigarette hanging out of his mouth.

I was enjoying Dark Juliette, too (shades of Cordelia) and wish they had explored that aspect a little more. And the hints of Angel have greatly improved the show this season. Considering the "powers that be" behind Grimm, wonder what took them so long to get more adventurous with the story and overall atmosphere of

Yeah, it kind of achieved its own level of uniqueness that's hard to classify (but I tried to, anyway). Very different.

Thank you so much, you have my condolences as well. Asta was a mutt, too…pure light and love. I've done a lot of animal rescue so over the years she patiently put up with a long parade of other dogs, cats (often handicapped or special needs), even bunnies…and never showed anything but gentleness and affection to any

Fillion was so much fun, especially considering that he'd never done Shakespeare before and was terrified. Whedon and most of his cast had experience and had a history of doing Shakespeare readings together for fun. Fillion said he tried to back out but Joss wouldn't let him! Good thing, too as he did a fine job.

I agree with you regarding Much Ado About Nothing. I like both versions, but Whedon's has extra panache and you can see the real love he and his cast of long-time friends and fellow Shakespeare lovers had for the material (and each other). Plus, for fans of the Whedonverse it held the added thrill of (sort of)

It got good reviews for an action film, and I'm curious about it…but I'm afraid to watch it because of the puppy. Without any details, just someone tell me if that part is (at least) over with quickly.

I haven't seen Chappie yet, but the trailer made me want to see it for the simple reason it showed him gently petting a dog (that reminded me of my beloved dog of 16 years who's no longer here), so I thought it must have some sensitive, thought-provoking moments concerning the kinder aspects of human nature that he's

Yeah, the first one was low budget (and looked it), the Road Warrior was pretty much all fast-paced action and "one-note" storytelling..but it was one of the first movies with that gritty, post-apocalyptic, "black-leather-and-wild-haircuts-and-dirt" look to it. And I loved the dog. Beyond Thunderdome was big budget

Glad to hear that Alice is still out there, and still fun. I saw him way back on his "Welcome to My Nightmare" tour, complete with giant spiders and ballerinas. Definitely fun. If he lives to be 100, he'll probably still be fun. Glad you enjoyed the show.

Watched the 1st season of "Rectify". It was recommended to me by several other commenters , so I settled in with the tv, plumped up pillows, plenty of sweet tea, and the cat. I found the show to be thoughtful and very moving….well written and acted. The whole cast is really good, but Aden Young is a revelation. The

You can't go wrong with Justified. Go with it, you'll be glad you did.

I remember that TZ episode and also hope it's not going to be that type ending. I'd like it to be something fresh and new that we haven't seen before, but I don't have a lot of confidence that'll happen…but I'm willing to go along for the ride and find out. Maybe they'll really surprise us.

Thanks for the tip. I looked into it once before and started confusing myself. I need to research the whole shebang a little more, and between the links Starkitty posted, your recommendation, and a few articles I'll read I'll form a plan of action.
