Yeah, it really ticked me off as the scene was just went on and on where the villain just kept insulting her (and not very convincingly in my opinion) and she just kept looking more uncomfortable. Like she was a kid with no self esteem rather than an accomplished professional. Ugh. The women characters on this show

I don't agree that there was a "John and Carter sitting in a tree moment" at all. Never took that to be a romantic declaration of love, but an acknowledgement of respect and, yes, love, but love for a fellow warrior who had helped save Reese's life and soul.
