Depends on the game , Xenoblade Chronicles had me completely gobsmacked at first . Eventually I ended up sinking a couple hundred hours into the thing though , so , I managed . Whereas with FFXIII I was so relieved to not be running down a corridor that being let loose was great and I couldn't wait to see everything .

I've mentioned this before , but the final boss fight in Shadow Hearts 3 . I won't go into detail , because spoilers , but if you played the game it's harrowing . I spent the entire fight in denial that his was really happening and that there would surely be a plot macguffin to ensure a happyish ending . Nope .
