If you think people are not influenced by art, you are a fool.

Not me, I've have been consistently entertained by his antics since he stopped being an actor, which is more than I could say when was.
I am just saying that some people are into that. I would also say that some people are into having their testicles stomped.
I was wondering if you would pick up on that. For the record, Deadwood, The Wire, The Shield, The Sopranos, Breaking Bad and Mad Men are all known for having anit-heroes. So it's 6 out of 8. Boohoo, bitch.
Close, but the protagonists are Geena Davis, Alec Baldwin and Winona Ryder. If you think making criminals or cheating spouses the protagonist is going to have a positive effect on society, be my guest.
Is that where you hang 22 oz craft beers on the tree? Seriously, though, let me guess, the FBI convinced some idiot that he should set off a fake bomb?

Yes.
Yeah, my problem is that when I watch a show, I naturally tend to put myself in the shoes of the protagonist. And regardless of good storytelling, witty repartee, stunning visuals, etc., I just can't let myself become more like the people in these shows, and this is coming from a wisecracking animated corpse.
Sidenote:…
Taking shit from a sentient sandwich?
My idea of entertainment: "watching the systemic self-destruction of pathetic people with ruined lives". Sounds Republican to me. Also, I learned to call people bitches. I am the greatest hat-wearing, television-watching pile of beef of all time!!!
*bows, accepts accolades*
edit: I just did the math; 6 out of 10 counts…
New York City? Get a rope.
Simpson's quotes?
I was stoked when I heard this show was coming out, it's right in my wheelhouse, but then I saw Lucy Liu was attached and I simply can't stand her. The last thing I saw her in was Futurama.
Wasn't it the nonstop assault of everyone in the world shaming him that lead to this?
Hey, I just started watching Sherlock. How does Elementary compare?
Closed captions?
I saw the Breaking Bad episode where they get stuck out in the desert. I said that he's a chemist, so why doesn't he just make a battery out the supplies he has in the RV? Then I had to sit around for the entire episode to wait for him to figure it out.
Also, one of my childhood friends is named Jesse and is a meth…
It seems mostly like anti-hero stuff to me, which I guess is all right if your soul is rotten or maybe not rotten enough. It's really a sad state for America when people want to live vicariously through assholes. Probably explains the Republican victories in the midterms.
I have literally seen a total of 3 episodes from all of these shows.
